The Course Directors Steven Stark
Curtis James
is Director of People Who Do, an organisational and personal development consultancy that seeks to improve work by discovering ways to reduce stress, raise motivation and enjoy what you do. Clients learn how to work more efficiently for their own and their organisation’s benefit. Steven has 15 years experience working in the creative industries at director level. He has founded, built up, bought and sold nine terrestrial and digital radio stations, led an audio production company, launched and run a music festival and dabbled in digital classified advertising. He has consulted for clients such as Virgin Media, Haymarket Publishing, The Department of Health and Local Authorities. He has extensive experience of working with SME’s to improve their productivity and to drive business growth by fostering creative environments.
Director of People Who Do, is manager of the band The Simon sound, a book binder and marathon runner. Curtis has worked as a musician, audio producer, label manager and managing director across a range of creative businesses: his own and other peoples’. He has worked for clients including Heineken, British Airways, Discovery Channel, American Airlines and Epson. He continues to lead a creative life running the letterpress studio Stanley James Press and collecting anything he thinks looks or feels awesome; however, he concentrates on helping individuals and organisations get the most out of themselves and their lives. He has coached people in many different sectors including the arts, media, design, finance and technology inspiring them to embrace challenges with creative energy.

Accommodation King’s College London can suggest 3–5 star hotels close to the campus. Participants will find a list of hotels in their Welcome Guide that will be provided with their confirmation letter.
Participants who register before 30 September 2010 will be entitled to 10 per cent discount. 10 per cent discount is also available for multiple bookings from the same institution or organisation. Course fees include a copy of the book A Whole New Mind: Why Right-brainers Will Rule the Future (Daniel H. Pink), all course materials, refreshments, snacks and lunch on each course day. Upon completion of the course participants will be awarded a King’s College London Certificate of Attendance.
