SA - Northern Ride

THE EXCELLENT NORTHERN RIDE, HELD ON SUNDAY JULY 5, LEFT FROM GOLDEN GROVE, LED BY JON TREEN.

It was a bit damp and overcast when we left, but cleared the further north we went. The ride took us through Snake Gully, Humbug Scrub with the creek crossing flowing, Williamstown with a detour to the Whispering Wall for a quick leg stretch, then off through Mt Pleasant, Angaston, Nuriootpa for a petrol stop for some of the Southerners and smaller tanked bikes, then off again out to Kapunda for our lunch

stop at the local Bakery where we feasted on the local fare.

After a chat and a walk around the main street we headed our separate ways home. 200km for Christine and I on the z1300, with a total of 10 members on the ride.
