This artwork was developed in collaboration with scientists at the Australian Institute of Marine Science in Townsville, and variations of this work have been shown in major galleries in Australia and overseas. This is the first time this work has been constructed for display in Queensland. What does the ephemeral nature of the material used bring to the artwork? How might this artwork be affected by it’s surroundings on The Strand?
