FEBRUARY 2012

We go on playing in the kindergarten in our market. We learned that we have to wait for our change and that each good have price.


We learned that the man who buy a goods is consumer and that he have rights and responsibilities. We made our own book where we put some pictures of the consumers rights and responsibilities. неща.


At the end of February we made a bazaar called Creativity in March. All the children, their mothers, grandmothers and the teachers made beautiful traditional martenica. They put a box, sold the martenica and save money.



MARCH 2012

In March we made a brochure and put there images of money of the different countries. We counted money.


We made handiworks that children may want to spend their money on.



We visited market, bookstore, toy store and there we monitored the process of sale/purchase of goods.

We made for the parents training called The Children And The Money. Playing funny games, we gave advises how could they teach their children to understand the value of the money, how to use the money, how to spend and save the money, how to understand the difference between “want” and “can”. Each of the participants get a brochure, where we put helpful advises.




APRIL

We create a role-play situations where children exchanged goods for money : „ Me and mom at the market “, „How much is this?“, „ Which one of this coins I have to give to the seller?“, „How should I change back?“. We develop our language, using different words – coins, notes, quality, change, value(how much is this).



We made an easter bazzar where we selle our handmade colour egs.


We got money from the cash point machine and learn how to use the credit cards.


MAY

We invite a parent representative of institution and she presented the children the consumer rights and responsibilities.



We create a market, where children were selling strawberries, carrots, apples, oranges, cookies and lemonade. They learned how to count and exchange money. We made a little movie with the children pronouncing the word/expressions.



We are publishing the information about the project in our kindergarten newspaper called Kitka and in the local press too.
