The importance of financial education

Financial Education The children had discussions during Circle Time about spending money. They discussed what they would like to spend their money on and initially all of their answers involved toys. The discussions were adapted to ask the children whether they thought it was important to spend money on schools.

Financial Education We discussed the importance of paying bills on time and what could happen if you don’t pay for things. The children were able to talk about buying food and toys at the shops with their parents. They talked about their parents using money to pay for things. Opposite is a child’s drawing of a Mummy paying for a toy at the shop, along with the child choosing the toy.
