Account Manager Spain/Portugal The position: The Account Manager is responsible for all sales activities, the positioning and promoting of the company and realisation of sales targets, activities and budget within their area. You will give professional/technical advice and support to existing and potential customers, create and follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field research, prepare proposals and be responsible for after sale activities. Together with the European Sales Manager you will also prepare, develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for your markets. Furthermore you will represent the company at (inter)national exhibitions and events. Your profile: To qualify for this position, you will be experienced in a sales and/or consultancy position in the Spanish and Portuguese horticultural/agricultural industry (business to business). You will work on bringing relevant contacts into the business and show a strong affinity with the product range of Jiffy. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the desire to “grow� the business. Keywords: self-started (proactive), strong focus on results and customer service oriented. Willing to travel frequently within the territory (overnight stays will be necessary) and occasionally abroad.
