WE ARE hiring!

We are seeking a Reservation Support person to assist our busy Reservation Consultants. Must be organised, quick, have a keen eye for detail and be hardworking. Candidates will preferably have at least two years’ experience in the travel industry. Based at our lovely Hout Bay office, must have own transport and be available soon. Sales

• Work closely with the team to achieve goals.

• Build up and maintain relationships with clients, owners, house managers and housekeepers.

Operations

• Once the Reservation Consultant has a confirmed booking, complete all admin-related tasks; save booking forms on the server, save bookings on all calendars, send a confirmation email to guest and owner/house manager/housekeepers, and update Reservation Consultant’s booking sheet.

• Assist clients with their pre and post-reservation questions.

• Follow up circa two weeks before the guest’s arrival to ensure all is ready at the property, and ensure the guest has directions.

• Post res you will handle minor damages and arrange the return of property that the client has left at the house. Major damages are handled by our Ops team.

• Pass on customer feedback to the Reservation and Marketing team.

• Assist the Reservation Consultant with calendar availability.

• Answer the phone when Ops Support is not available. Take full client details and email enquiries to Reservation Consultant.

Additional responsibilities:

• Demonstrate good communication skills and customer care.

• Stay current on events and changes at hideaways.
