We are seeking a full-time IT Assistant to join our dynamic team at our office in Hout Bay. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, creative and detail-oriented team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work unsupervised. Needs to have experience in WordPress.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support on hardware, software, and network issues and resolve technical problems via phone, email or in person.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripherals.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of office equipment such as printers, scanners, and projectors.
• Perform routine system backups and ensure data integrity and security.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical problems.
• Manage Google Workspace Platform and various other company software.
• Assist with booking system and content-related queries.
Required Experience:
• Ability to work with Content Management Systems, specifically WordPress.
• Prior experience in providing technical support to end users, preferably in a help desk or IT support role.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues commonly encountered in an office environment.
• Understanding of basic network principles.
• Experience in supporting and maintaining booking systems or similar software applications.
• Familiarity with IT policies, procedures, and best practices
