That is why Dr. Graham—an all-star chef with a Masters degree in public health from Harvard and a certified Integrative Medicine practitioner—has created a Cuban-inspired line of meals for Performance Kitchen Crafted. “We must identify cultural food and health traditions and beliefs to be able to serve their needs. As a Latino, this is especially important to me as I cook for other Latinos. The food I make is plant-forward, honors the flavors, and respects the tradition of the foods we eat,” he says.

Dr. Graham has fond memories of his El Salvadorian mother filling the house with aromas on the weekends as she batch-cooked beans. “The secret ingredient in my cooking is love,” he says. Dr. Graham weaves these happy memories into every meal he crafts, so that when you defrost one of his creations, you are sharing the magic that he remembers. “We are a beautiful and diverse nation with a wide variety of cultural cuisines,” he says. Dr. Graham holds a Masters in Public Health from The Harvard School of Public Health and completed three fellowships at Harvard in General Internal Medicine, Complementary Therapies, and Medical Education. CUBAN MEALS “I love Spanish food, but growing up in Jackson Heights, NYC, I quickly learned that Spanish food comes in all flavors, Mexican, Argentine, Dominican, Cuban and Central American. My mom’s Latin cooking transports me back to my childhood, my roots, and brings back that love I’ve always felt from my mom. On the weekends, I remember waking up to the smell of her beans.
