APPCAMP The core of APP is the annual APPCAMP attended by creative producers from each of the four host countries (Australia, Japan, Korea and Taiwan), as well as 10-15 producers from neighbouring Asian countries. Program Direction Over the course of the intensive seven days of APPCAMP, participants: • get to know each other, including developing an appreciation of different language and cultural perspectives around producing • get to know the host country’s funding climate, key players in the arts, key venues and kind of work being produced • extend themselves through exploring their approach to creative producing within an Asian framework While most activities of the CAMP take place in small meeting groups and sessions, open networking events held throughout provide learning and development opportunities for the wider performing arts community alongside APPCAMP participants.

Organisers Performing Lines /AUSTRALIA Performing Lines produces new and transformative performance, creating pathways for innovative artists whose work pushes boundaries and sparks new conversations. For more than 30 years, Performing Lines has collaborated with arts companies, producers, presenters and funders to bring about creative and strategic opportunities for some of Australia’s most exciting and diverse contemporary artists and performances. Live Performance Australia (LPA) / AUSTRALIA LPA is the peak body for the live performance industry in Australia, and represents performing arts companies, commercial and independent producers, music promoters, venues, festivals and industry service providers such as ticketing companies and technical suppliers. With more than 400 members nationally, LPA’s mandate is to advocate for and support policy decisions that benefit the sustainability and growth of the live performance industry in Australia. The Steering Committee for the Producer / KOREA The Steering Committee for the Producer was established in 2013 to encourage producers’ professional development and networking. The goal of the Steering Committee is to establish long term networks between creative producers in Asia, with a focus on developing diverse collaborative intercultural projects.

Open Network for Performing Arts Management (ON-PAM) / JAPAN ON-PAM was established in February 2013 to look towards the future, considering the current situation surrounding our society and the performing arts, as well as what took place in previous decades. By building a national and international network, and effectively maintaining it with the individuals who work in society as presenters, producers or managers of performing arts connecting artists/artistic groups with audiences, we try to define and raise the recognition of the contemporary performing arts in society. We advocate on cultural policies, aiming to contribute to benefit the performing arts and society as a whole. Performing Arts Alliance (PAA) / TAIWAN Established in 1997, the Performing Arts Alliance, as a not-for-profit organisation, plays a vital role in providing information on the performing arts, maintaining effective communication between public and private sectors and nurturing a sound performing arts environment. PAA actively participates in discussions around public policies, helps cultivate talents and explores channels for fundraising, as well as developing international connections to establish networks and partnerships with overseas performing arts institutions.
