[ cultural The CJMW Architecture Interior Design team’s portfolio includes design for performing arts centers, theatres, museums and galleries. Like our Hospitality work, our design for these spaces centers on enhancing the patron experience. Starting with elements that help shape and direct flow, the design progresses integrally, with attention down to the last detail focused on the end users’ interactions with their surroundings. Whether with visually - and texturally - rich materials, highlyfunctional yet beautiful lighting, or a simplicity of design that allows the environment to take a back seat to the art on view, our Interior Design team excels at transforming complex spaces into memorable environments.

upfits & renovations Because they involve reusing or transforming existing spaces, designing tenant upfits and renovations often requires an extra level of creative problem-solving – one of our primary design strengths. Whether establishing more efficient workspaces to comfortably double staff within the same small space, transforming a former attic and mechanical space into a light-filled office environment, or encouraging transparency and collaboration by using demountable glass panels instead of drywall, our Interior Designers nimbly work within and make the most of challenges, turning existing constraints into design opportunities.
