FIELD to FORK
Fields for Farming Metaphor for food that is ready to eat as the result of kitchen
The main attraction of answering this concept is to provide land on the roof that can be used to grow crops as student media to learn directly about the materials food straight from the plant.
Form Composition Strategies
The mass placement is adjusted to the existing trees, so it doesn’t do a lot of logging. While the height of the building is based on the position of the building mass. The more front of the building, the higher the building is. The front building also shows the face of the whole mass of other buildings.
The gap in the middle of the front mass is a sign of the main entrance
Buildings are coated in response to the orientation of the building, which is exposed to the sun throughout the day.
As an answer to the issue, on the top of some masses used as a place to grow crops and green roof.

Anyar Mall & Residence Architectural Design Studio IV Location : Jl. Cibadak, Kota Bandung Area : 7.822 m2 Supervisor : Dr. Ir. Agustinus Adib Abadi, M. Sc. This project is a project on vacant land with the issue of lack of greenery. The area feels like a dead area, especially at night; the pedestrian path is not permeable. People who walk will find it challenging to share their space with motorized vehicles, especially twowheeled vehicles. Flanked by housing that looks organic from above and traversed by a river in the West makes it a different challenge for this project to stay in harmony with the surroundings and show a new face that is fun and fresh. This project is expected to become one of the icons of the surrounding area.

Conclusion Although the total population of Karanganyar Ward is the second smallest after Panjunan, the tax revenue target set by the government is the highest rather than other wards in Astanaanyar Subdistrict. Hence, it can be concluded that the property and income of the Karanganyar Ward population are considered high. The designation of the building to be designed for Middle-Upper Class

Building Function Identification
45 %
Commercial : Shopping Center Supermarket Public Space
55 %
Residential : Apartement
Why choose ratios 45 & 55? Mixed-use buildings should not be more than 60% for each function (based on Harvard Journal) so that no one is more dominant. Why not 50:50? because commercial is a supporting function in Astana Anyar District, while Residential is the main function.
31
ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO
The residential function is not more than 55% because the commercial function will have a role in meeting apartment residents’ needs. If the residential part is more significant, the commercial role will also increase.
Concept The surrounding buildings, which tend to be organic with shape blocks with various heights, become the idea in this building design, so every floor of the building mass is subtracted to look organic. The building will be designed as a ten storeys makes the building the tallest building with a radius of 700 m to the surrounding environment. The idea is to make this building iconic with a skyline, so harmonise with the surrounding. Form Composition Strategies 1
Put two block-shaped masses as commercial buildings with distance in the middle as a public space, one facing north the other facing east. In addition, answering the wind speed issue is vital so that the wind can circulate between buildings.
3
Residential and commercial masses are subtracted to become more organic buildings like their surroundings.
2
Placed the mass above each commercial building as a residential building.
4
On top of the subtracted mass, it becomes a green open space to answer the problem of urban decay, such as decreasing catchment area around the land and become a gathering place and interact so that there is urban regeneration/urban renewal.

Sumur Bandung District Office Architectural Design Studio III Location : Jl. Lombok, Kota Bandung Area : 1140 m2 Supervisor : M. Jehansyah Siregar, S.T., M.T., Ph. D. This Project is the first digital design assignment and I used Revit for the first time. This is a re-designed or renovation project of Sumur Bandung District Office. It is located at Lombok Street, a one-way street close to residential housing and several well-known schools in Bandung, making the road pretty crowded at school time. Repose to the existing condition, problems that often occur are it has no enough space for the multi-purpose room, less extensive circulation path, and the poor arrangement of the placement of each room. The concept of this building came from the function and privacy matter. The building divided into two look-like symmetrical parts. If entering the building, rooms separated based on their privacy level, such as the sub-district office, sub-district secretary, and meeting rooms are placed on the right, while for citizen services, they are placed on the left. The design looks deliberately designed like the colonial era because the area around the office still has many old buildings, so that look harmonious.

Vase Dome Structure and Form Studio Team : Hans Marvin & Muhammad Bakam Maulana Supervisor : Dr. Eng. Ir. Boedi Darma Sidi, MSA
Structure System The structural system used is an active vector system, using the space truss system. The structure consists of the main space truss located at the top center and 24 space truss modules to support the form to produce a symmetrical composition.
Joints System There are 3 types of connections used in this structural system, that are : Weld, applied to rod-to-stem connection in the framework of the plane.
Use of KK-Ball Node System on the support of the structure and also rods with custom balljoint ends.
Custom connection usage is identical to the node on the meeting part.
