Less is more / less is a bore Poster exhibition, Florence and Skopje
The conflict between these 2 quotes was presented through the portraits of their quoters, accordingly. Less is more, Mies van der Rohe Rohe’s portrait is very minimalisticly illustrated, almost like a constructivist drawing.
Less is a bore, Robert Venturi On the other hand, Robert Venturi’s portrait has a more of a human touch.

Official Exhibition Poster, Skopje After the successful presentation at Florence, I was given an assignment to weld the 2 posters into one poster that will be used as an official poster for the Skopje Exhibition. The result was a simulation of a playing card.

Lenka The poem speaks about a woman who works at a tobacco monopoly. She lost her life because of her exhausting job, and left her linen blouse unwoven. The lyrics are handembroidered over the seams and the mannequin is hand-made out of a copper coil. A light is inserted inside to accentuate the lyrics and cast the wireframe shadow over the linen blouse.
The poem speaks about the people from the working class in Macedonia and describes their hard life. Each morning they hear the rooster’s wake-up call and start working till the sun doesn’t leave the sky.

It brought a huge success to the whole campaign which was proclaimed as the second most effective campaign in the South-Eastern and Adriatic region for the year 2007 . I created the visual concept as well as the copywrite.
