RECEIVED BY ( OUR HEARtS: \\ \

Merry Christmas to All! We are grateful for this time of year. First of all, we have the opportunity to ponder on the meaning of this joyous season. "For God so loved the world that He sent His only Begotten Son". We are so grateful for the many blessings that we enjoy because of the birth of Jesus Christ. Second, we are grateful for the opportunity to send a Christmas greeting to each of you. We pray that each of you enjoy a pleasant Christmas Season, one filled with time to slow down and have time to spend with those you love. We have had a wonderful year. We have loved having Cherie on a mission and hearing from her each week of her love for the Lord and the work she in performing in the Netherlands. She is so happy. Heather, her husband, Phil and daughter, Cozette are back living with us after being in China from April through the middle of August. Phil is busy with his MBA program at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and will graduate in June. Heather is super busy with Cozette who is now 20 months old. They are also expecting daughter #2 in April. Life is exciting and busy in our house and we love it! Jamie is still attending BYU-Idaho and loves college life. She is majoring in Health Science. She also has enjoyed clogging, intramural tennis and a very fun social life. When not in school, she worked at two jobs, as a hostess and medical office clerk. Niki is a freshman in High School, which has caught us off guard. She is attending a new Charter High School and is in the second class, as it just opened last year. She is enjoying high school especially being a part of the Cheerleading Squad. If you could major in a subject in high school, Niki would have majored in Socializing and would pass with straight "A's"! The highlight of the year for our family was a visit with Heather, Phil and Cozette in China for two weeks. What a wonderful experience. We experienced so much of the culture and the people because we lived among the people. It was great! The highlight was a trip to a remote part of the Great Wall and being able to hike quite a distance with our great peasant-farmer guide. Wow! The history in China is amazing. Heather and Phil were wonderful tour guides and Phil saved us constantly by translating for us. Life is to be enjoyed and we have truly enjoyed this past year. Again, we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! The Gulliver Family
