Dear People We Love, Even though we are wondering what happened to 2010, these last 12 months have been a blast. A lot of that is thanks to the arrival of our gorgeous daughter, Elliot Marjorie. Since she has joined us life has been tons busier, but the level of joy and amusement has been through the roof. Every little laugh, sneeze, crawling-attempt, smile, or hug from Elli is a reminder that she is a miracle, and we are so blessed to be her parents. No news can really top that of a baby, but we did have some other miracles this year. Matt was laid off from his job teaching at an alternative high school in Yucaipa. Thankfully, the principle at the alternative high school in Beaumont had been hoping to somehow get Matt on board. After the paperwork was in, interview over, Matt had a new job! Now Matt works about 1.2 miles from home, teaching in his field of study. We are so grateful for how everything worked out! Melissa's big project for the year, (other than being a stay-athome mom), has been McIntosh Photography. Making money to do something we love is great, but Melissa is just excited to be able to take beautiful pictures of her amazing Elliot. All the other work is simply a perk! Well, that is the Mcintosh's in a nutshell! We hope that you all had a great 2010 and that the future will bring great blessings to you and your families! Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year' Love,

December 2009 Hi Everyone: Well, here it is that time of the year, time for my annual letter. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope all of you had a good year, I had a great year. Jan - This year has been great. I finished Gene's family pictorial history thanks to all of his cousins that sent me pictures. Went to my family reunion in The Dalles, Oregon the end of June. We had a great reunion and my cousin John "Buddy" Eldridge came and followed me home and then I packed up and rode back with him to his home in the city of North Pole, Alaska. We had a great time, first we went to Denali Park really great scenery, but the highlight was a fly-in to Kantishna Roadhouse. We flew within a quarter of a mile of Mt. McKinley and the sun was out, the air clear and the mountain was spectacular. Next we went to Valdez for some halibut fishing, the Gulf was smooth, sun out, and I caught a little halibut about 25 to 30 pounds big enough for me. We went to the museum at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks which is a wonderful museum. Went to Chena Hot Springs and swam in the pool. Also, naturally went to Santa's House in North Pole and got some curios and a picture with Santa. Drove the Alaska Canada (AlCan) highway and the scenery was wonderful. The end of August went to my 50th High School reunion. In September, my sisters and I, gave a 90th Birthday Party for our Dad and everyone had a great time. So, as you can tell have had a great summer thanks to Buddy and all the family. Teresa - She and her family are doing well. In June she graduated with her Masters Degree in counseling and therapy and is now working. Sean bought his first house in January with his girlfriend, Kali, and he is working at Boeing. Michaella is in her senior year at the Univ. of Washington. Bob is still working at Boeing. Danny - He and his family are doing well. He is still working in his differential business and is chief pit crew boss for his daughter, Joselyn. Joyce is still working the landscape maintenance business. Joselyn is in her senior year at Central Washington and also races hornet, stinger eight, bombers, school buses at Evergreen Speedway, Monroe, Wa. As you can see the family has had a very busy year. I want to thank again "Buddy" for a great July. As we get ready for the holidays 2009 and the new year of 2010, everyone enjoy the season and have a wonderful 2010.
