Peter McVerry Trust Graduate Programme Peter McVerry Trust is looking to hire a pool of dynamic, talented and professional graduates for our 2018 Graduate Programme. These individuals will be committed to the Peter McVerry Trust’s vision, be passionate about the area of social care and inclusion, and wish to make a positive difference in society. Peter McVerry Trust’s Graduate Programme offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organisation in the field of social care and inclusion, where you can put into practice the learning and skills you have acquired to date. You can also develop your professional practice to an exceptional standard. Peter McVerry Trust offers a structured career and development path for successful graduates.

Peter McVerry Trust’s Graduate Programme was launched in 2014 with 9 graduates participating. This rose to 14 graduates in 2015, 20 in 2016 and 32 in 2017. Participants of the Peter McVerry Trust Graduate Programme are continually supported to rapidly progress within the organisation.

Benefits €25,000 per annum for first 6 months, then following successful probationary period, point 1 of Social Care Workers Scale Further 20 - 25% on top of basic salary for anti-social hours 21 days Annual Leave Sick pay benefit upon successful completion of 6 month probationary period.

Our Mission: Peter McVerry Trust is committed to reducing homelessness, the harm caused by drug misuse and social disadvantage. Peter McVerry Trust provides low-threshold entry services, primarily to younger people with complex needs that offer pathways out of homelessness based on the principles of the Housing First model.
