At the genesis of this exhibition, I visited Mount Gay in St Lucy on a private tour of the plantation and distillery. During the visit, I saw the stoppers for the rum barrels and thought that it would be a good idea to paint on it. So I got two and immediately did paintings on them, inspired by my day at Mount Gay in St. Lucy.. Thusly, Mount Gay had to be a part of my opening and I thank them for their sponsorship of the Rum Punch served at my opening.

Thank you to my catering sponsor, Lucky Horseshoe for their delicious and generous offering of Sandwiches, Crabcakes and a Veggie Platter for the opening reception. It was all delicious.

Event Photography by my beautiful cousin: Gina Francesca Corbin – Thank you

Thank You A special thank you to Rosemary Parkingson who was with me the first time I stepped foot into this venue. We were driving around exploring Barbados and at the end of our day wanted to relax with a cocktail. I immediately felt a connection with this location and the idea for this exhibition was born. Rosemary helped me craft the proposal to La Casa del Habano and the rest is history. Ironically, Rosemary was in Trinidad and Tobago attending to personal business at the time of the exhibition, but, managed to work tirelessly to sort out all the logistics. The exhibition could not have happened without her valuable input. And with the love and support from my friend and family, both in Trinidad and Tobago and in Barbados. Thank you Rosemary.
