Why Exhibit at PPG Summit 2016? ABOUT THE PET PROFESSIONAL GUILD

The Pet Professional Guild (PPG) is the only completely forcefree organization for pet professionals. We strive to have pets living in homes as valued family members, free from training methods that use physical pain, fear, force, or intimidation. PPG is committed to helping its members achieve these goals by providing a higher standard of education, building a strong collaboration of force-free professionals, and by supporting and building network opportunities. Our organization is currently made up of over 3,000 pet professionals spanning several continents, and is growing rapidly.

BENEFITS OF BEING AN EXHIBITOR

Since its inception just last year, the PPG Summit has been listed by the Modern Dog Trainer as one of the top 10 conferences for pet training and behavior professionals to attend, two years in a row. There will be over 300 pet professionals in attendance as well as over 30 world renowned pet industry experts speaking at the event. PPG Summit 2016 is an excellent opportunity to showcase your products. Our pet professionals are always looking for products that are in line with PPG’s Guiding Principles to suggest to their clients.

PRESENTERS

PPG Summit 2016 will feature over 30 presenters covering all things canine, feline and equine. Making a return this year is popular 2015 keynote speaker Dr. Karen Overall, who will be joined by pet industry luminaries such as Dr. Marty Becker, Victoria Stilwell, Ken Ramirez, Malena DeMartini Price and Pamela Dennison. Also making a return are renowned behavior experts Chirag Patel, Pat Miller, Ken McCort, Dr. Soraya Juarbe-Diaz, Janis Bradley and Emily Larlham. Miller said at the close of last year’s event that it was “the best dog training conference ever,” while McCort stated that it was “one of the greatest collections of experts… and dog trainers” he had seen in a long time. In addition to the many educational opportunities available for canine behavior consultants and trainers, feline behavior will have greater representation at this year’s Summit with the return of cat specialist Jacqueline Munera. She will be joined by PPG’s Feline Committee chairwoman, Jane Ehrlich, and Dr. Juarbe-Diaz for an expanded program comprising all things feline. Equine behavior will be addressed for the first time, with a presentation by horse trainer Sara Richter. See the full list of Summit 2016 presenters here.
