Dress up a scary-good combo of ready-made apps to fright and delight guests.

Hot Dog Mummies

This one’s a classic. Wrap thin strips of puff pastry around hot dogs, bake according to package directions, then add dots of mustard or ketchup for eyes.

Spooky Potato Skins

After baking, use squeezable sour cream to make a web pattern overtop each. Or flip them over onto a serving plate after cooling, then carve spooky skull faces into the skins.

Mozzarella Stick Fingers

Once cooled a little, cut out a small divot from the end of each stick, then tuck a slivered almond (or baked pumpkin seed) into each for fingernails. Don’t forget the marinara for dipping!
