IN THE SPOTLIGHT Upcoming Bank Holidays Queen's Jubilee
As a reminder, and to help you plan your annual leave for the year, please note the bank holiday that would usually fall on Monday 30th May, has moved to Thursday 2nd June this year, alongside an extra bank holiday on Friday 3rd June, to create a 4-day weekend to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. This additional day of leave applies to anyone employed on 3rd June and has been added to everyone’s entitlement for the year. For all those who will be working on 3rd June, you will be given a day off in lieu. Part time colleagues will receive the extra day, even if they don’t usually work on a Friday (one day will be the equivalent of an average day’s work, so if a part time worker works for an average of 3 hours per day, they will get an additional 3 hours of leave for the Jubilee bank holiday). Enjoy your time off!
