Close your eyes and inhale Imagine and transport yourself to a pristine aquatic environment Sense the tranquility and solitude Silently glide your bamboo rod from its quiver Assemble the one-piece ought weight Find alignment Use only a single #30 dry fly Debarb the hookless fly Don't actually tie it onto the 9X leader, knowing that the best presentation is as if the fly is not attached to the leader Become the fly Unfurl and levitate the gossamer silk flyline in ever tighter loops True casting (not false casting!) Never actually touching the water surface Will the rise to happen Feel the quickening as the mirrored surface bulges Become Immersed in the concentric rings echoing wider Gently strike momentarily before the anticipated take to avoid the hook-up Thus releasing the fish before it's actually caught Using the bare frame of a netless net Savior the moment Become the fish Exhale Remain mindful and enlightened...
