You or a loved one may have kicked off 2020 with a resolution to lose weight, but with so many online programmes available via specialist apps, how do you know which are worth spending money on? We tested a budget and a premium version, and here’s what we found…

I first signed up for the WW di gital members plan around ni hip ne months ago when my part and I decided to ner motivate each other to make healthier food choices. When you sign up to digital m embership, you’ have access to ll the WW app w hich comes with whole host of a features. You’ll first be matched a plan colour (b with lue, green or pu rple) and given daily SmartPoi nts to ‘spend’ on food tailored to you. For extra flexibility, you' ll get a custom of ZeroPoint™ list foods too, whi ch you can eat fr eely. Among the man y features of th e app is a hand barcode scanne y r which is useful when out food shopping. It no t only tells you the SmartPoint value but also s the nutritional content too.
