Art club is directed by the students who attend. Students select the themes, materials and ideas they want to explore and Mrs Aitken is available to provide support and given help and advice.
Design, build, decorate and programme a Fairground Carousel with Ms Martin and Ms Griffiths on a Tuesday lunchtime. Come with friends or on your own, join a team and learn some new skills.
Held at lunchtime in the Music Room (MR), this group is for Clarinet players of any ability and is led by the School’s Clarinet teacher Mrs Hughes.
Drama Club is great for encouraging you to work as a team player and promoting confidence. We look at play scripts, do improvisations and play lots of drama games. It is good fun and allows you to not only make new friends, but also to learn the key skills in drama and build upon them each term. Mrs Dolby, the School’s Violin teacher, leads this group in T3 at lunchtime. All players of Violin, Viola and Cello are welcome.
Come along to B8 to play computer games. We have a number of retro games consoles for you to use as well as being able to play games from the world wide web. Tuesday & Thursday lunchtimes. Open to all year groups. Table Tennis Club is for players of all standards to have fun and advance their game. Whether you are a social player or want to have a more competitive match, come along on a Tuesday lunchtime!
Prince Henry’s is proud of its long tradition for fundraising and supporting a wide range of charitable organisations. Interact is the main focus for this at Prince Henry’s. Interact gives students an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful projects, develop their leadership skills and initiative while meeting new friends and furthering international understanding. It is run by students and involves students across all year groups. Interact is sponsored by Evesham Rotary. The boys PE department run number of extra-curricular clubs throughout the year, including rugby, football and cricket. The clubs are for all pupils wanting to improve their ability or just try something new. Sessions will involve both skill based drills as a chance to apply them to game situations. Pupils will also have the opportunity to represent the school by competing in fixtures against other schools on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Creative Rock and Pop sessions aims to help you develop your song writing skills. If you are someone who wants to write or already write your own songs, this is for you. You will be guided through the whole process, from putting chords to a melody or musical idea to how to record it using recording software. Led by Mr Bullas and Mr Fisher from 3:-45-4:45pm in the Music Room (MR), this ensemble is for any Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Brass players and Drummers. Those who play piano are also welcome to help in the percussion section. The music ranges from well-known Pop, Musicals and Film soundtracks. Players of any standard are welcome.
