Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Miaysha’s unorthodox approach to clothing construction and wear is what makes her design aesthetic unique. She believes in an approach in which art and design meets innovation. A mixture of different elements combined into one. When designing, she always aims for dichotomy to entice conversation, as would a piece of art.

Focused on the increase in whaling, this collection combines mixed prints and fabric manipulation to mimic patterns found on the humpback whale with the fluid forms of stroboscopic photography.
