Vintner Dinner
Chris Shepherd, Chef and Managing Partner, Catalan Food & Wine, Houston, Texas A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Chris moved to the Texas Gulf Coast to attend the Culinary Arts program at Houston’s Art Institute. After graduation he was quickly promoted starting as line cook, moving to fromager and finally as executive sous chef. Chris is a proponent of the farm to table philosophy and he painstakingly resources regionally grown foods. Chris is known as one of the most inventive chefs in Texas, receiving accolades from the Houston Chronicle, Texas Monthly and named to the coveted “Best New Restaurants” list for 2007 in Esquire magazine.

Patron Vouchers are transferable and may be combined up to $5,000 per auction item. ** Balthazar and Jeroboam Patrons will receive their choice of vintner at their table based on level of patron package, then by order patron reservations are received.
