“The 2010 African American Academic Challenge helps to advance the Kno African American History of Long Island (History Bowl),” said Phil Andrew President. “The 100 Black Men of Long Island, Inc. would like to personally th for hosting event at its Melville, Long Island office and State Farm for sponso scholarships for History Bowl Winners.”

The Challenge is played in a Jeopardy-style format. The winners will go on to c 100 Black Men of America, Inc. National Finals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida organization’s national conference in June. The April competition was hosted and scholarships for the 2009 calendar year awards in the amount of $500.0 student-winner were provided by State Farm Insurance.
