Former Lawmaker Eyes Return To Harrisburg ormer State Rep. Harold James (D-S. Phila.) wants his old job back.

James announced his candidacy for the 186th Dist. seat over the weekend at a news conference in South Philadelphia. He told supporters, including Sheriff Jewell Williams, he will pledge to stay for the long-term and continue his fight for the changes needed to improve his neighborhoods, such as more jobs, better education and crime reduction. James represented the 186th Dist.

Mousetrap Show Celebrates 60 Years At Walnut St. Theatre

by Betsy Wilkinson It seems appropriate that the world’s longest-running play should be performed on the stage of America’s oldest theatre on its 60-year anniversary. Currently running on the Main Stage of the Walnut Street Theatre through Mar. 4 is Agatha Christie’s classic suspense play, The Mousetrap. This timeless thriller will be seen around the world on every continent to commemorate its

60 year anniversary.

twists and turns as the plot develops, culminating in the murder of one of the guests at the end of the first act. Soon, every character is under suspicion for the murder in the boarding house, as well as the one reported earlier on the radio, because a connection between the two events and the people in the boarding house is made.

This play is set in a small town in England during the winter of 1952. A young couple has turned a home they inherited into a boarding house, and as they await the arrival of their first guests, there is a report on the radio of a murder in the area.
