Daily Waffles From Joe Sbaraglia (The Waffleman)

Yo! Here we go again with the difference between Grandmothers & Grandfathers - very touching! Have you ever wondered what the difference is between Grandmothers and Grandfathers? Well, here it is:

There was this loving Grandfather who always made a special effort to spend time with his son's family on weekends. Every Saturday morning he would take his 7-year-old granddaughter out for a drive in

his '57 Chevy for some quality time just him and his granddaughter. One particular Saturday, however, he had a bad cold and really didn’t feel like being up at all. He knew his granddaughter always looked forward to their drives and would be disappointed. Luckily, his wife came to the rescue and said that she would take their granddaughter for the drive. When they returned, the little girl anxiously ran upstairs to see her grandfather who was still in bed. "Well, did you enjoy your ride with grandma?" he asked. "Oh, yes, Paw Paw, it was really wonderful and you know what we didn't see one single asshole, piece of crap, horse's ass, blind bastard, dipshit, stupid goat humper or dumb son of a bitch anywhere we went!" Almost brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it? To buy a copy of this book E-Mail Dwaffleman@aol.com

Kitchen Offers Training on New Voter ID Law State Sen. Shirley Kitchen and the Philadelphia Voter Registration Office have teamed to hold sessions on Pennsylvania’s new voter ID law. The Voter ID training sessions will teach interested volunteers about how to educate the public on the new state law and the process to obtain proper identification, which is now required by law in order to cast a vote. “Right now, nearly one in five Philadelphia voters lacks the proper identification needed in order to vote this November under the new law. It’s cru-

cial that voters are informed now so that they are ready when they go to the polls,” Kitchen said. “The new law can be confusing, so these training sessions are specifically designed to provide all the details to folks who want to inform the public about obtaining a voter ID.” “I encourage anyone who is passionate about voters’ rights to sign up and help us ensure that every voter is eligible to vote,” Kitchen said. For more information or to sign up, call the senator’s district office at 215-227-6161.
