Primary Logo

The Philadelphia City Council logo includes the City Council seal followed by a simple word mark. It has a timeless yet modern feel to it using a serif font. This is the main logo that will be used across primary brand applications. This helps our audience quickly identify City Council. It is essential to the success of the brand that the logo is always applied with care and respect in every application according to these guidelines.

Clear Space

To ensure legibility, always keep a minimum clear space around the logo. This space isolates the mark from competing graphic elements like other logos or body copy that might conflict with, overcrowd, and lessen the impact of the mark.

Unapproved Logo Usage

The following are examples of how not to use the logo. Do not rotate, squash or stretch the logo or seal. Do not stack the logos or use old logos.


TYPOGRAPHY FONTS

Typography is a powerful brand tool when used consistently. The following set of typefaces best represent the classic and clean look of the brand. All variations of the fonts are acceptable to use and you are not limited to these specific fonts. AVENIR
