My Experience at Phoenix Academy

I am Michal Ondrasik and I am a former student of Phoenix Academy. I was asked to write something about myself and what am I doing now. So, I come from Slovakia, I’m 20 years old and I am currently a student at the American University of Paris. I did the 12 weeks Business course and the 12 weeks CAE course at Phoenix in 2008 and I can say it was a huge step forward for me. At first, in the age of 16 i had to live on my own for half a year which made me much less dependent on my parents and it tought me to responsibility and self-efficiency. But moreover both of those courses moved my English to a whole new level, which I find very practical nowadays. When I returned home I also did IELTS academic a year after Australia without any preparations I got 7.5, which I think is quite good. Now I’m studying International Economics as a major and Applied Math and International Business Administration as two minors, so also the business course was very helpful. Overall I find my Phoenix experience extremely beneficial and I would recommend it to everybody who plans to study in English.
