Study Tour Program 2 Weeks in Perth, Western Australia Time

8:45–10:15 (15min Break) 10.30—12:00pm

Day 1 (Sun)

Afternoon 12:45pm – 3:30pm

6:00pm

 Flight Arrival in Perth and Transfer to Accommodation Free day for students to interact with Homestay Family or locals.

Day 2 (Mon)

Welcome to Phoenix Academy Placement Testing and Orientation Day 3 (Tue)

City Orientation Tour Take a brief tour in the City to sort out students’ needs including currency exchange & other items. We will take public transport for students to learn how to use Perth’s transport system.

English Class

Caversham Wildlife Park Caversham Wildlife Park is home to an array of Australian native animals. Here’s your chance to feed the Red Kangaroo, hold a Wombat, touch the Koalas and ride a Camel.

Scitech Discovery Centre Scitech is the place of the future. Based around the laws of Science and Nature, Scitech is an educational yet fun-filled place for all students. Scitech combines a large range of hands on experiments with regular engaging Science shows

Zone 3 Laser Games Each player is equipped with their own Laser gun, and must destroy their enemies and their base! FIRE AWAY!!!

Join the local family and take the opportunities to practise your Oral English in the evening.

Kings Park BBQ Visit the symbol of Perth - Kings Park, situated on Mount Eliza and enjoy the beautiful view of the city and Swan River. Kings Park is also a botanic garden with a large range of native plants and flowers. Students will take the opportunity to visit a number of popular scenic spots. Enjoy the Australian BBQ with beautiful surroundings, and keep your camera ready!

Day 7 (Sat)

Full day trip to Rottnest Island Rottnest Island is home to some of the most beautiful beaches and bays in Australia. It is a great place for snorkelling, swimming, riding a bicycle or just relaxing. Rottnest is the only place in the world where you can see wild quokkas (similar to a small kangaroo). The students will need beachwear, sun cream and a hat.

Day 9 (Mon)

English Class

AQWA and Hillarys Marina AQWA takes you closer to nature than you would normally dare to go. Enjoy the thrills of being only inches from Sharks, Sting Rays and Eels. One of the many attractions here is a seal show, where these well-trained sea loving creatures display their character habits.

6:00pm Join the local family and take the opportunities to practise your Oral English in the evening.

See all the boats at Hillary’s Boat Harbour and spend some time shopping. Day 10 (Tue)

English Class

Ten-pin Bowling Students can try their luck at making a strike by knocking down all the pins. They will need to bring an extra pair of socks.

Museum and Art Gallery Learn about Australian history at the Museum of Western Australia and see famous Australian paintings at the Art Gallery.

Harbour Town Shopping Centre Visit a large and popular shopping centre in the afternoon. Pick up your presents for the family.

English Class

Graduation and Farewell Party Students are presented with a Graduation Certificate and Teacher’s Report at a graduation ceremony. Afterwards students have a farewell party including a pizza lunch.
