HOW DO YOU SPELL YOUR NAME? I.N.I.E.L.P.I.E.T.E.R.S.E DO YOU REVEAL YOUR AGE? YES. I’M 92. HEY NO MY REAL AGE IS 26. OMG! INIEL! A CAT HOTEL? I thought there was a need in Bloem for one. I love dogs too but I’m not really a dog person. You get dog people and you get cat people. I’m a cat person. My aunt’s got a cattery. The cats just come to you… You can see they can’t handle the cage; and I just came back from Cape Town and WAIT A MINUTE. WHAT WERE YOU STUDYING IN CAPE TOWN? I was studying Integrated Marketing Communications at AAA. Looking at advertising from all different views. Sponsorship etc. JOHAN (INIEL’S OLDER BROTHER) INTERJECTS BASICALLY ALL THE EVILS OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION.
I think cats are aware of people. I say, because I had a cat in Cape Town called McGyver, he got lost at the same time I was reading a book called Straight from the Horse’s Mouth by Amelia Kinkade. It teaches you how to communicate with animals on all different levels. 1. Clairvoyance 2. Clairsentience 3. Clairaudience
mind to mind heart to heart soul to soul
She says, Amelia, the author, says people can rarely do all 3; people at least have a knack for 1 of the 3. She actually uses it on her husband. Her and her husband will be in different towns and she’ll just sit on her bed and communicate with him. Basically they’ll share their day. Every animal has a voice, a different personality, sense of humour. Some cats have a shorter fuse, different tolerance levels. You can communicate with your cat. Sometimes you’ll see a picture. Like say if you ask the cat where it is; it will open its eyes to you, show you were it is from its point of view. So you know how to do this? I feel them. I talk to Mandela (Iniel’s cat). I can tell him I’m going away for a week. And I’ll tell him. Cats don’t understand our human actions but if you explain it to them… Like he’ll be sad; I can feel it or he’ll be like I don’t care you can go for two weeks.
So does he know what 2 weeks is? Well I don’t know about his sense of time but it’s more like he’ll know I’ll be gone and won’t be angry with me. Because he does get angry, like if I don’t say goodbye. When I come back he’ll just give me a mean look and just walk away. Because he sleeps with me on my bed, so if I go out at night, I’ll say, hey Mandela I’ll be back 3 o’clock in the morning and he’ll be waiting in the car park and he’ll make a sound ( happy cat like sound) and he’ll come over to me and we’ll walk into the house together. Wow that’s beautiful. It’s incredible. I mean getting back to the story about McGyver getting lost. He wasn’t lost, he walked away. He made a decision not be at the flat at that time, because in this book Straight from the Horse’s Mouth, Amelia the author comes to South Africa. Because I emailed Amelia and she got me in contact with a lady here in South Africa called Winter. I think she was in Johannesburg at the time. Anyway she just needed a copy of a picture of your cat with their eyes open. And she can communicate with the cat. She found where the cat was. McGyver said he left because of an uncomfortable situation that happened with one of my friends when he was a little drunk. And Winter even had a name, Grant. OMG! So the cat said Grant? Yes. I was shocked, and I mean he even said other things to her. Like smells from the fish and chips shop, because he was sitting
right there. I mean I was there every day looking for him but he’d wondered further into town. So eventually a woman found him and she phoned the SPCA so McGyver communicated with Winter to phone the SPCA, so Winter told me to phone the SPCA, they told me that yes a woman had just called with the cat and she actually wanted to take the cat to the UK with her, so I had to produce a picture of McGyver to get him back cause she’d fallen in love with him. I mean dogs she tells you that they can see inside the human body. They have x-ray vision. They can see cancer. She uses dogs to see it. ONLY DOGS NOT CATS? I know specifically dogs but animals can see things humans can’t see. That’s why I decided to open this Cat Hotel. MOLLYCODDLE. 23 Maluti ave, 9301 Spitskop, Free State, South Africa
