Quality Endures

The very best designs are timeless. Trends fade, colors and patterns come and go, and unusual forms rarely last.

The hard work of design is to integrate a sense of heritage with ideas that feel fresh and relevant today—new and iconic at the same time. This issue of Waterworks Made explores that inimitable spirit of quality that sets these pieces apart—the driving force that motivates and fascinates us every day.

Our new Henry Chronos collection, inspired by the meticulous precision and refined details of dive watches, offers a new sense of distinction for any environment. Similarly, our statement-making bathtubs and stone sinks, carved from the finest materials, are crafted to stand the test of time—and the always-changing design world. This issue also transports us to one of my favorite cities, Milan, where the city’s master artisans collaborate with us to produce some of our most inventive, indemand products.

I hope you’ll enjoy exploring these creations and the influences behind them as much as I do. Months pass and seasons change, but the allure of truly great design is always enduring.

Exquisite Fittings

Made in Milan

As any visitor to Salone del Mobile or Fashion Week can tell you, Milan is a city of captivating contradictions.

The unmatched Italian capital of both business and fashion, it’s where form actually won’t follow function without a substantial dose of flair.

Even the Duomo, which took nearly 600 years to complete, has updated its style over the centuries. Like the city, it’s always evolving.

What remains constant is Milan’s enduring appeal and capacity to inspire through fine workmanship and style. It’s one of our greatest

sources of inspiration, and where some of our most iconic collections are beautifully crafted. The nuanced guilloche engraving on Bond and the meticulously assembled layers of Henry take shape in collaboration with Italy’s present-day master artisans.

This is the place that gave us The Last Supper Gio Ponti, and the houses of Prada and Missoni. It’s where art, culture, and stellar craftsmanship come together to create covetable classics. And that’s always in style, no matter the season.

Stone Bathtubs & Sinks

Exquisite freestanding bathtubs and sinks carved from a single block of stone—these sculptural statements transcend the expected bath experience.

Sculpted by Italian artisans from a block of pristine Carrara marble, each Ibla bathtub is skillfully hand-finished, from the elegantly rounded rim to our signature branding at the base.

A natural showstopper carved from a hand-selected block of highly figured Prunella marble, Alatri projects modern elegance on a stunning scale. Handfinished details include a flat band at the base and gently eased lip.

Each Tellaro sink emerges from a single, hand-selected piece of Arabescato, a light marble with touches of gray. Favoring modern and transitional environments, Tellaro’s form is warm with impressive scale.

Carved from a single block of Nero Marquina or Bardiglio marble, Doria makes a serious statement. The nuanced design features curved lines and radiused corners; the 9-inch backsplash lends height and drama.

Refined and deeply modern. Italian artisans create each Sorano sink from a block of exquisite Arabescato marble, allowing for generous counter space at the back. Choose from a smooth or textured water-jet finish; an optional 6-inch selfbackplate is an elegant addition.

Crisp, clean and minimalist, Andro is handmade from impeccable Soapstone or Arabescato marble. Concealed plumbing allows the eye to focus on the form itself, making it ideal for the modern powder room.

Handcrafted in Normandy

Clothilde’s pedigree is rooted in the high-quality copper cookware of the early French culinary culture. Completely handmade, this double-ended vessel has no visible seams, is lined with tin to protect the purity of water, and projects a grand scale for the new era of luxuriousness in the bath.
