Hold The Door 在歐美國家,大家會在進門的時候,習慣向後看一下是否有

別人要進來,如果有,通常大家都會推著門一下,方便後面 的人進來,這個習慣稱之為「Hold the Door」。這是一個隨 時隨地都可以做到的簡單動作,是一個對家人、朋友甚至陌

生人表示友好、禮貌的行為。想讓這個世界變得更美好? 讓我們從「Hold the Door」做起!

Holding the door open for someone is something they just do in old movies, right? Guess again. Holding the door open is a polite and thoughtful act you can easily do for your family, friends and even strangers, every day. Whether you’re at school, the grocery story, at work, or at home, those around you will certainly appreciate your good manners.

2018 台 中 花 博

2018 Taichung World Flora 臺中市政府成功申請到2018年國際園藝博覽會的主辦權,

並舉辦了「百卉徵妍 2018花博在臺中 CI設計高手徵件」活

動。特別邀請王艾莉設計團隊參與競賽,以台中的道路作 為識別標誌的想法,並使用了台中特有的花卉及蔬果當做 這次吉祥物的選擇,希望能帶給大家不一樣的感覺。

Taichung World Flora Exposition invited Alice Wang Design to join the competition for the CIS design of the 2018 Taichung World Flora Exposition. The logo design inspiration is based on the roads in Taichung, and using the endemic flowers and vegetables / fruits to created the character mascots, hoping to bring some different vibes to people.

PPW (post per week) PPW是一張明信片,也是一份生活刊物,每周1張、每月4 張、每年52張,每周不定時出刊。PPW不報導最新設計或

流行資訊,而是由編輯團隊挑選、篩選出我們最興趣的資

訊。內容包括設計、藝術、建築、生活旅行、展覽等。PPW

是一種新型態的刊物,除了強調「閱讀」,我們同時希望讀

者們可以感受收到明信片的那種喜悅,並且收藏、回味、分 享或展示每張PPW!

A lifestyle publication and also a postcard, PPW is published 1 time a week, 4 times a month and 52 times a year. In addition to informing our readers of the latest products and trends, our editors select custom content that specifically fits our readers’ interests in the fields of design, art, architecture, life and travel, exhibitions, and more. PPW is a new type of publication — besides focusing attention on reading, we also want our readers to feel the joy that comes with receiving a postcard. We hope that our readers will collect, savor, share, or display every PPW they receive!

PPW’s unique design allows our readers to re-mail and share their postcard with friends and family. By simply ripping off the postcard’s previously-addressed section, the reader can recreate a brand new postcard.


美 感 細 胞 教 科 書 改造計畫

美感細胞團隊繼第一季教科書再造計劃順利成功後,又發

起了第二次的募資活動,成功的在短短三個月內就順利達 標,也從原本只能針對單科,一舉擴大到五科(國文、英

文、數學、社會、自然與生活科技),更邀請到知名的設計 師們一起來合作,負責自然課本設計的王艾莉團隊則透過 互動設計和排版方式,讓學生親自體驗自然原理的奧妙。

After the success of re-created the text book project, HOUTH invited different famous designers to join this project again, and created the brand new text book for 5 different subjects. Alice Wang and her design team created the Science text book through the Interaction design, the students can experience the Science from the text book by themselves.

The Gift 因應兒藝中心的成立,將以《禮物》 (The Gift)作為開幕展

覽及各項相關教育、宣傳活動之主題。《禮物》主題之提

出,主要取其英文「gift」所同時具備的「禮物」及「天賦」 的雙重意義,除視兒藝中心的成立作為北美館獻給所有台

北市民的禮物之外,亦透過策展及各項教育活動的安排, 讓參加的小朋友探索並了解藝術創作如何被視為神祕且難

得的禮物。在此,兒藝中心作為啟發創造力及探索藝術表 現的空間,如同禮物般被領受、分享與傳播。

Founded in response to children's arts center, will be "a gift" (The Gift) as the theme of the opening of the exhibition and related educational, promotional activities. That "gift" theme, whichever is the English major "gift" that also have a "gift" and "talent" in the double meaning, as the children in addition to the establishment of the museum as an arts center dedicated to all the people present outside of Taipei, also through the arrangement of the curatorial and educational activities for participants to explore and understand how children are treated as mysterious and artistic rare gift.

You Are Not Truly Happy 《女也 Herstory with Mayday》,是由相信音樂發行的音

樂概念專輯,召集十組女歌手自選臺灣樂團五月天的十首

歌曲重編演繹,其中找來鄧紫棋演唱《你不是真正的快樂》 這首歌,且專輯企劃也特別與王艾莉設計團隊合作拍攝新

的音樂錄影帶,希望賦予歌曲全新的想像與畫面感。

《女也 Herstory with Mayday》is a concept album released by B'in Music Co. Ltd, recordings by 10 female singers to perform 10 different songs from the Taiwanese band - Mayday, and the music video was produced by the design team from Alice Wang Design. Hoping to give to the song the brand new imagination.

In addition to using heavy oil as their fuel, the massive tankers that transport the oil are susceptible to oil spills that are responsible for some of the worst environmental crises of our era. What is Design? 到底什麼是「設計」?生活周遭的東西是怎麼來的?「設計 師」又是誰?其實設計跟生活息息相關,生活中所用到的東西

都是經過「設計」而產生,設計的靈感來源處處都是,只要用 不同的角度來看世界,任何東西都能變成一件很棒的作品!

What is “Design”? Where everything in life came from? And who is the “designer”? Actually the design is everywhere in our daily life, everything we use has been designed, the inspiration is from everywhere and everything, which can be an amazing artwork if we try to see the world in a different way.

Edible Tales 食物說展覽集結二十三位來自世界各地的設計師及藝 術

家,透過他們的作品來替食物說故事。展覽分為四大主題,

跨域展出顛覆既有的食物規則,發展食物的玩性,探討飲

食背後的社會責任,以及對食物未來的期許和具備爭議的 未來趨勢。

Inviting over 23 designers and artists from all over the world, the exhibition is categorized into four main topics, displaying an array of interdisciplinary works. Some works aim to capsize fixed principles of food while others are purely developing the playful quality of food; some works investigate the social responsibility behind food, and some harbor hope for the future of food and explore its highly controversial trends.

Sausage Social 當人情味十足的臺灣遇上文質彬彬的紳士英國該如何擦出 火花?不如就來聊聊共同的美食文化「香腸」 。英國食物設計 雙人組合 Bompas & Parr 從眾多臺灣小吃裡選出最難忘的 美味 ‒ 台式烤香腸,將其進行改造計劃。

Inspired by Taiwan's rich culinary history and with a touch of British

seasoning, Bompas & Parr's sausage-based experience seeks to re-enchant the market as the both the centre of culture and a portal to a

new world through beguiling storytelling and design. Each artistic, theatrical and culinary offering is drawn from universal food experiences and globally celebrated ingredients.

The T=T Flashpoint Pie follows the idea of Deterministic Algorithms

The Pie graphic indicates an eating protocol which is transformed in the experience of tastes through a coordinated sequence. The taste trip is then referred as a single travel experience with no moving.
