THE CELEBRATION: EID AL-FITR (2-3 MAY) A typical Eid day starts the evening before, when you are sent from pillar to post to collect food items that were outsourced. In the morning, the men will go to the masjid (mosque) for prayer and a sermon, after which you’ll visit your parents.
