The History of Spirulina Filipina
1 3.7 billion years ago, the Earth was surrounded with gas or “a bowl of gas.” This meant the earth could not support life, except for the Single Cell (Technical University of Denmark).
These bacteria are microscopic with certain functions on Earth and with different natural chemical structures. Some are edible, with a high and perfect health potency (which is very natural in any edible bacteria),others are toxins, while some are naturally living in our body and in our environment. The most common edible bacteria are: Cyanobacteria: also known as bluebacteria or Cyanophycota (Dictionary of Botany). It is a phylum of bacteria that obtains their energy through photosynthesis. The name cyanobacteria comes from the color of the bacteria: (Greek: κυανός (kyanós) = blue) (Wikipedia).
extinction of oxygen-intolerant organisms.” (www.princeton.edu)
“The ability of cyanobacteria to perform oxygenic photosynthesis is thought to have converted the early reducing atmosphere into an oxidizing one, which dramatically changed the composition of life forms on Earth by stimulating biodiversity and leading to the near-
They grow as microscopic, corkscrewshaped multicellular filaments and are now classified as a distinct genus, Arthrospira . A. plantensis which is found in Africa while A. maxima Platensis is found in Central America (Wikipedia)
Under the microscope, Spirulina is shaped like this. SPECIES NAME SCIENTIFIC NAME COMMON NAME

SINGLE CELL The first living organism on Earth. After 1 million years (3.6 billion years ago), this single cell evolved into different groups of species of bacteria.
According to endosymbiotic theory, the chloroplasts found in plants and eukaryotic algae evolved from cyanobacterial ancestors via endosymbiosis (Wikipedia).

These organisms are among the simplest plants found in the aquatic environment, and resemble higher plants by the presence of chlorophyll and being autotrophic. The very primitive algae were unicellular, but with evolution, they developed into

are different groups of algae. In past classification systems, algae included six (6) groups. These are chlorophytes (including green algae), euglenophytes, pyrrophytes, chrysophytes, phaeophytes (including brown algae) and rhodophytes (including red algae).

Nutrients Introduction to product knowledge Food in any substance consumed by a person to provide nutrition for survival. It is usually of plant or animal origin and contains essential nutrients such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, minerals and metabolic and digestive enzymes. In the last 50 years, nutrients contained in our food diminished tremendously caused by the reduction of minerals in the soil due to nonreplenishment and irresponsible over-use, not to mention the heavy use of pesticides and inorganic fertilizers (NaturalSociety.com). In addition, the food processing industry has invested in farm and marketing technologies that allegedly help in making nicer and fresher food, by the use of preservatives, but are now known to be quite harmful to health (Livestrong.com). Furthermore, the unabated production of junk food and the establishment of commercial food chains further promoting the consumption of deficient and toxic nutrients in instantly-cooked or ready-to-eat products warrant the need to supplement the regimen of our daily food intake with nutrients that are literally “missing.
There are two categories of choice for dietary food supplements:
1
Formulated Food Supplement
Formulated Food supplement is a preparation intended to improve the diet and provide nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, fiber, and amino-acids that may be missing or may not be consumed in sufficient quantities in a person’s daily diet. However, some medical studies have shown that formulated supplements might be doing more harm than good (greenmedinfo.com). 40% of formulated supplements were found to be defective and potentially dangerous (consumerlab.com). Synthetic formulated combinations consisting of vitamins and minerals are not bound to anything natural, they may have entirely different chemical structures which are not recognized by the body, especially the liver and may not be able to detoxify those that are toxic. Absorption is limited by uptake mechanisms in the intestines. Mega-doses of formulated supplements are wasted and excreted, since our digestive system is not able to make use of them. This is one reason why the colour of the urine is sometimes deep orange due to artificial colours.
2
Did you know? Non-Formulated (Natural) Food Supplement
The nutrients in one (1) gram of Spirulina Filipina® is equivalent to one kilo (1,000 grams) of assorted vegetables.
A perfect example is the Spirulina Filipina® Natural Whole Food Supplement. Spirulina is a microscopic form of bacteria, growing naturally for centuries in alkaline waters. They are corkscrew-shaped multicellular filaments— thus the name Spirulina. Its minerals and vitamins are naturally bio-chelated, meaning they are wrapped in amino-acids for excellent assimilation by the body. It contains over 100 Synergistic nutrients and is nature’s richest and most complete single source of total organic nutrition. It is a completely natural, powerful, wide-ranging and diverse group of nutrients which provides the body with proper and balanced nutrition. It is also a superior approach to nutrition therapy to prevent today’s prevalent ailments and diseases.

Absorption Why is Digestion very important? When you eat food, such as meats, vegetables or breads, these are not in a form that the body can use as nourishment. Food and drinks must be changed into smaller molecules before they can be absorbed into the blood and carried to cells throughout the body (NDDIC).
Why are enzymes important? Enzymes are proteins that facilitate chemical reactions in living organisms. In fact, they are required for every single chemical action that takes place in the body. All cells, tissues, organs and bones are run by enzymes. The digestive system, immune system, blood stream, liver, kidneys, spleen and pancreas, as well as the ability to see, think and breathe are all dependent on enzymes (Baseline of Health Foundation).
A
Spiruzyme D
Spiruzyme D is a food supplement with synergistic potent blend of Spirulina Filipina powder and patented vegetable-enzyme blend called Vegpanzyme—composed of protease, lipase and amylase—developed to aid the Digestive System to convert the food into nutrients, build healthy
digestion, dissolve accumulated toxins, accelerate the digestion process and decrease stomach bloating. Almost all the food we take is classified as proteins, fats, or starches. This patented blend covers the breakdown of these types of food: protease to break down proteins and turn these into amino acids; lipase to break down fats and turn them into lipids; and amylase to break down starches and turn them into sugars. Enzymes are protein catalysts that aid specific bodily functions (Enzyme Stuff). Without them, the digestion of food and absorption of nutrients are incomplete, thus paving the way for toxins to propagate, and diseases to take over the body. As the body ages, its “enzyme bank” diminishes greatly, summoning the need to supplement with vegetable-based enzymes. The root cause of most diseases is incompletely digested and undigested food. Undigested food “putrefies” in the stomach. Meat rots, and starches turn rancid or spoils in the stomach. All these cause much discomfort and lead to many diseases because of the resulting toxins ((roadtohealth.com). The greatest cause of pancreatic cancer is an overworked pancreas, constantly releasing insulin to breakdown highly processed food or the “modern diet.” It is absolutely necessary then, to supplement with enzymes, unless one totally lives on a raw food diet (The Pancreatic Center).

Biological Sytems Maintenance The percentages of the major causes for death are:
25% due to Circulatory Disorders 16% due to Respiratory Complications 6% due to Digestive Disorders Because of this, DLA Naturals produces and manufactures its patented products, which contain Spirulina Filipina速 and specific enzymes to target these different health issues.
Circulatory System Circulatory disease is the leading cause of death for humans; it begins when cholesterol, fatty substances and calcium start to build up in the arteries. The reduction in oxygen delivery to the heart can create chest pain, also called angina. Blockage of the coronary arteries by plaque may cause hypertension which may lead to heart attack (Myocardial infarction) or a fatal rhythm disturbance (Sudden cardiac arrest). Circulatory disease is usually called silent killer internally, it can quietly damage the heart, lungs, blood vessels, brain and kidneys if left untreated.

and dissolving naturally the accumulated plaque in the vessels and arteries, thus reducing high cholesterol, high blood pressure and helps in the prevention of strokes and cardiac attack.
What is Nattokinase? Nattokinase is a potent fibrinolytic (anti-clotting) enzyme complex extracted and highly purified from a traditional Japanese food called ‘Natto’. Natto is a fermented cheese-like food that has been used in the Japanese culture for more than 1,000 years for its popular taste, and as a folk remedy for heart and vascular diseases. Research has shown that Nattokinase supports the body in breaking up and dissolving the unhealthy coagulation of blood. In fact, it has been shown to have four times greater fibrinolytic activity than plasmin—a natural enzyme in blood. (nattokinase.org) One theory is that it dissolves the tiny fibers (fibrin) that form the strong mesh in blood

clots. Streptokinase and Urokinase, drugs administered intravenously after a heart attack or stroke, work the same way. Nattokinase, however, is absorbable by mouth and believed to be longer-acting.
The fatty plaques can also rupture, causing blood to clot around the rupture. Blood then can’t flow past the clot to the necessary parts of the body causing tissue death.
How does it work? Nattokinase removes plaque from the arteries by decreasing the ability of blood to clot. It “thins the blood” and protects against strokes and heart attacks.
What causes coronary thrombosis? Atherosclerosis is the name given to the buildup of cholesterol and fat (fatty deposits or plaques) in the artery walls. The arteries become narrow and hardened, their elasticity disappears and it becomes difficult for blood to flow to the necessary part or tissue of the body, causing the tissue to die.
Plaque raptures are a common cause of heart attack. Most people in the developed world have atherosclerosis in some parts of their body, without even noticing it. Atherosclerosis develops gradual over time and can start around the age of 20.
A Final Note on Nattokinase Built-up plaque ruptures and forms a blood clot or blocks flow completely
It carries with it the important but little known Vitamin K2, which prevents arterial calcification (Medicine for the 21st Century). This very important Vitamin, which is only sourced from fermented food, ensures that Calcium is not deposited to the arteries, but guided to the bones and teeth.

Spiruzyme R
Spiruzyme R is a food supplement with synergetic potent blend of Spirulina Platensis, Sodium Ascorbate and Serratiopeptidase (or Serrapeptase) which is a proteolytic enzyme isolated and extracted from bacteria of microorganism Serratia e15, a “harmless type of bacteria” that mainly benefits the respiratory and sinuses system. In Germany, the United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales), and Japan, it is called “the miracle enzyme” because of its remarkable benefits of removing dead and non-vital tissues from all over the body.
S P I RUL I N A
F I L I P I NA
Serrapeptase removes all dead tissues from the body through the blood stream without harming “live” tissues. It is also called “the second gift of the silkworm,” the first being silk. In the 1950s, Dr. Hans Napier observed that the enzyme Serratia 15 (serrapeptase or serratio peptidase) was used by the silkworm to digest the very tough mulberry leaves which it eats. His more remarkable observation was that when the silkworm becomes a butterfly, it spits out this enzyme to bore a hole on the cocoon sac quickly where it is encased to avoid being eaten by birds A hole is made, but the wings of the butterfly were not damaged. The difference, he said, was that the cocoon sac was made of dead cells, while its wings are made of live cells. Thus, when serrapeptase is consumed orally, dead and non-living tissues, including mucosal fluid, are naturally removed from the body, relieving inflammation and pain.

Immune System A strong Immune System has no need for medicine in the majority situations. It is our first defense against all diseases. The cells of the immune system can engulf bacteria, kills parasites, or tumor cells. A strong immune system will help you to fight colds and flu, to protect you from developing cancer, heart disease and other health threatening conditions. To understand the usefulness of nutritional supplements, and their important role in the maintenance of optimal health, there is a need to be familiar with a few basic topics, namely: Immune system, free radicals, and the current theory of ageing.
The Human Immune System The immune system is a complex arrangement of protective mechanisms in the body designed to defend the body against invasive microbes, toxins, and parasites. It is a system which consists of cells, tissues and organs that orchestrate the immune response to combat illness when challenged by foreign substances that would otherwise, render a person sick. The main organ-system involved in the immune process is the lymphatic system.
The lymphatic system is a part of the cardiovascular system, which in turn consists of the heart, the blood vessels, blood, lymph glands and lymphatic fluid. The lymph nodes are small nodular masses that are often strategically located in the human body, in synergy with the circulatory system which brings to all parts of the body the immunity-causing substances. This occurs when the blood is being pumped and distributed to all parts of the body, through the blood vessels. Illness manifests in the human body when the immune system is weakened. When a person is sick, the immune system is not working in its full potential. On the other hand, however, when the immune system is in excellent state, the body is healthy and free from disorder and disease. A good immune system, without us even knowing it, filters all unwanted and potentially pathogenic elements that enter the human body. It is a very protective shield that is not visible to the naked eye. Supplements can boost it. However, the older one gets, the weaker the immune system also gets. There are innumerable factors affecting the immune system; but the simplest, yet almost underestimated factor is FOOD. Spirulina is a whole natural food. As a food: It is also called as “FOOD MEDICINE”.

Nowadays, there are too many questions why there are many sicknesses/diseases compared to life before? Hippocrates, the Father of Organized Medicine, said “Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food.” “Yes we are what we eat. We eat garbage, we will become garbage. And we are not only what we eat. We are what we absorb. We are what we build. We are how cleansed we are”. Our world is in its sickest state because we have forgotten his words. And the search of the PERFECT FOOD ends with Spirulina Filipina! And do not be fooled by the names of diseases. They all mean one thing: “dis-ease” or the body is not at ease. Nutrition is the only thing you need. YOUR BODY IS DESIGNED TO HEAL ITSELF, GIVEN THE PROPER NUTRIENTS.

“Let food be your medicine and medicine be your food.” — H I P P O C R AT E S Father of Organized Medicine
All elements begin at the cellular level. That is why it is very important to nourish our cells and to supplement our bodies with nutrition that are lacking in our food and in our modern lifestyle. Healthy cells make healthy organs; healthy organs make healthy life systems.
The bottom line to prevent disease and to cure it is summed up in one word: NUTRITION Usefulness of Spirulina to the body: Important nutrients found in Spirulina Filipina for contributing to the prevention, treatment, and inhibition of damage and disease to the organs of body according to sound nutrition principles:
Natural Pigments: Anti-Cancer Properties through Cellular Nutrition Free radicals and Antioxidants A free radical is an unstable molecule that steals an electron from a stable molecule in order to satisfy its need for repair. It is produced as a by-product of cellular action that requires expense of energy, the process of which is called oxidation. As such, the free radical destabilizes the stable molecule and creates another free radical in a vicious chain reaction of cellular destruction. In short, a single free radical may cause damage to millions of other molecules in the body, preventing the body from functioning properly. This molecular destruction is continually occurring in the body. Toxic elements attack us and add to the problem from many different environmental sources every day, such as: tobacco, alcohol, some prescription products, smoked and barbecued foods, additives in the food we eat, pesticide residues in fruits and vegetables, pollutants in the air we breathe, and even sunbathing. Free radicals cause oxidation in the blood, and when oxidation occurs, disease may result. With age, the amount of free radicals the body produces is increased. Scientists have determined that very large amounts of free radicals accumulated in the body can significantly shorten the human life span. Herein lies the importance of antioxidants. Studies have shown that antioxidants offer the best protection against damaging free radicals and even stimulate the immune system’s response to help fight existing diseases. Antioxidants are substances that modify the process of oxidation by neutralizing free radicals. By neutralizing, they themselves are oxidized, and for this reason, the body is always in need of a constant source of antioxidants. To maintain our health and wellbeing, it is clearly imperative that we must choose or supplement our diets with natural antioxidants. How antioxidants work is a two-way process; first is Stabilization or Chain-breaking. This is when an antioxidant comes in to stop the chain reaction of free radicals. The other is more on the preventive side. Enzyme antioxidants like, Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), Catalase and Glutathione Peroxidase prevent oxidation by reducing the rate of chain reaction. Instead of waiting for the free radicals to make a long chain of free radicals, antioxidants scavenge the initiating free radicals and destroy them before oxidation is set in motion. Free Radical Theory of Ageing (FRTA) The free radical theory of ageing states that organisms age because cells accumulate free radical damage over time. Scientists have discovered a link between longevity and the levels of antioxidants in the body. The

higher the levels of antioxidants, the longer a person is expected to live. Furthermore, as one gets older, the body produces fewer and fewer antioxidants. The accumulation of cellular damage and garbage from incomplete cellular repair fuels the ageing process. Free radicals cannot be completely avoided as they are produced as a part of cellular action. Supplementing the diet, however, dramatically slows down this ageing process (Pubmed.gov). Spirulina’s dark color comes from a rainbow of natural pigments. These synergistic pigments offer unusual health benefits and help synthesize many enzymes necessary for regulating body metabolism. Without them, enzymatic reactions would be reduced until cellular disintegration occurs. Phycocyanin (blue pigment, can be found ONLY in Spirulina) - in the living algal cell, phycocyanin serves as a protein storage unit and antioxidant, and it produces the red and white blood cells in the bone marrow. Responsible for protecting the cell from certain free radicals and stops it from forming and Proliferating by enhancing the production of SUPER ENZYME called SUPER OXIDE DISMUTASE (SOD), an anti-oxidant-enzyme that stops free radicals. Phycocyanin causes cancer-cell apoptosis (suicide) (greenmedinfo.com) Indigo: “Beta Carotene food” (Yellow, Orange and Red), known as cancer-cell inhibitors, an ANTIOXIDANT with a full spectrum of ten mixed carotenoids, and one of the most effective substances for deactivating free radicals which damage cells, leading to cancer.
This helps reduce the risks as well as delays the onset of certain types of diseases that manifest during the aging process. Yellow: (Pro-Vitamin A) - dictates and commands the cancer/bad cell to stop duplicating. Orange: Responsible in protecting the cells against free radicals. Red: Responsible in producing more red cells. Green: Chlorophyll: it helps promote the natural Blood-Cleansing of the body, increase bowel function, alkalize the body, promotes strong Immune Response, Strengthen Cells and a potent Digestive Tract Detoxifier. Responsible for the detoxification of the blood, digestive tract as well strengthening the cells.
Natural Vitamins Vitamin A (100% as Beta-Carotene) 11,250 IU: also has antioxidant properties that neutralize free radicals in the body that cause tissue and cellular damage. Vitamin B1 Thiamine 3.5 mcg: helps cells convert carbohydrates into energy; necessary for healthy brain and nerve cells, heart functions and maintains appetite and growth.
Vitamin B2 Riboflavin 1.97 mg: helps in the formation of antibodies and red blood cells. Promotes good vision, eye fatigue, skin, nails and hair. Vitamin B3 Niacin 16.89 mg: helps release the energy in carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. It also supports proper circulation and healthy skin, functioning of the nervous system, and normal secretion of bile and stomach fluids. Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid): is widely known to be an obstacle to serious mental states like stress and anxiety Vitamin B6 Pyridoxine 4.96 mg: helps protect cardiac health, reduces edema and stabilizes female hormone levels. Vitamin B7 Biotin 0.5mcg: is beneficial in the body for several conditions, such as hair loss, brittle nails, and high cholesterol. Vitamin B11 0.30 mcg: plays an important role in cell metabolism. Vitamin B12 Cobalamin 1.10 mg: essential for the normal functioning of all body cells, especially those of bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract and nervous system; also necessary for the formation of red blood cells; prevents pernicious anemia and is necessary for a healthy nervous system. Vitamin D3 48.90 mg: helps maintain blood calcium levels within a narrow range, and is vital for normal functioning of the nervous system, immune system modulator and enhances neuromuscular function.
S P I RUL I N A

Vitamin K1 60 mcg: Primary function is to regulate normal blood clotting. Vitamin K2 15 mcg: is an essential nutrient, necessary for strong bones and the promotion of healthy blood clotting, ensures that calcium is delivered to the bones and teeth, and not to the arteries causing arterial calcification. Vitamin H 0.89 mcg: is necessary for cell growth, the production of fatty acids, and the metabolism of fats and amino acids. Inositol 1.7 mcg: is a fundamental ingredient of cell membranes and is necessary for proper function of nerves, brain, and muscles. Total Carbohydrates: 0.15 grm Total Lipids: 0.06 grm Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) 35.01 mg: It is probably hard to imagine that a concentrated source of nutrients such as Spirulina is not also loaded with fats, starches and calories. Amazingly, Spirulina is only seven percent (7%) lipid, and most of that is in the form of essential fatty acids that promote cholesterol normalization. The essential fatty acids, sometimes called vitamin F, include linoleic, gamma linolenic and arachidonic acid. They are used by the body to manufacture Prostaglandins, the hormonal regulators of blood pressure and capillary resilience. The essential fatty acids are involved in respiration in all the cells, and are especially important for oxygen transport. They affect the health of the hair, skin and nails, and help break up cholesterol in the blood stream. They are not dangerous fats and are absolutely vital to health.

Endocrine System The Endocrine System regulates the hormones, but gets little attention and importance. When hormones are discussed, usually people only talk about estrogen and testosterone, which are the reproductive hormones. But other hormones, such as insulin secreted by the pancreas to enable the body to process food nutrients, are just as important. The Pineal, Pituitary, Adrenal, Thyroid glands, together with the Thymus organ and Pancreas, release allimportant hormones that regulate vital bodily functions; and all these hormones diminish as we age. HGH or Human Growth Hormone and reproductive hormones decline sharply with age in both males and females (80% from age

20 to age 60). Thus, DLA Naturals developed Spirustamin which is mostly composed of exotic plants (safe) from all over the world to enhance hormone production. Although these plants seem to enhance more the reproductive system hormones and sexual prowess, they regulate other important hormones as well, promoting restful sleep, balancing mood swings, regulating anxiety and depression, especially with women on menopause. Most users have reported great calm, energy and happier dispositions.

Nervous System The nervous system is the part of an animal’s body that coordinates the voluntary and involuntary actions of the animal and transmits signals between different parts of its body. Nervous tissue first arose in wormlike organisms about 550 to 600 million years ago. In most types of animals it consists of two main parts, the central nervous system (CNS) and the peripheral nervous system (PNS). The CNS contains the brain and spinal cord. The PNS consists mainly of nerves, which are long fibers that connect the CNS to every other part of the body. The PNS includes motor neurons, mediating voluntary movement, the autonomic nervous system, comprising the sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system and regulating involuntary functions, and the enteric nervous system, a semi-independent part of the nervous system whose function is to control the gastrointestinal system.
S P I RUL I N A
F I L I P I NA
At the most basic level, the function of the nervous system is to send signals from one cell to others, or from one part of the body to others. The nervous system is susceptible to malfunction in a wide variety of ways, as a result of genetic defects, physical damage due to trauma or poison, infection, or simply aging. The medical specialty of neurology studies the causes of nervous system malfunction, and looks for interventions that can prevent it or treat it. In the peripheral nervous system, the most commonly occurring type of problem is failure of nerve conduction, which can have a variety of causes including diabetic neuropathy and demyelinating disorders such as multiple sclerosis and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Skeletal System The human skeleton is composed of 300 bones at birth[1][2][3] and by the time adulthood is reached, some bones have fused together to give a total of 206 bones in the body. The bone mass in the skeleton reaches maximum density around age 30. The human skeleton can be divided into the axial skeleton and the appendicular skeleton. The axial skeleton is formed by the vertebral column, the rib cage and the skull. The appendicular skeleton, which is attached to the axial skeleton, is formed by the pectoral girdles, the pelvic girdle and the bones of the upper and lower limbs. The human skeleton serves six major functions; support, movement, protection, production of blood cells, storage of ions and endocrine regulation.

Body Care by Nature The skin is the biggest organ in our body; and like all other organs, it has to be maintained very well. But, mineral oil is the common carrier used in many beauty products, to which one common concern regarding the use of it is its presence on several lists of comedogenic substances. The World Health Organization (WHO) indicates in a monograph related to mineral oil that there are sufficient evidences for the carcinogenicity of untreated or mildly treated mineral oils. Other chemical ingredients in many body care products are probably unhealthy. Ingredients at a Glance: At DLA Naturals, we researched, developed and manufactured products on natural ingredients for the body, because what we apply on the skin is as important as what we intake. GRAPE SEED OIL: a natural vegetable oil having great emollient properties for skin. The oil contains linolenic acid as well as very potent antioxidants, proanthocyanidins, which helps heal wounds and lessen the damaging effect of the sun and free radicals. CETEARYL WHEAT STRAW: a polythelyne glycol free, biodegradable, natural source of emulsifier that offers excellent stability.
S P I RUL I N A
F I L I P I NA
VITAMIN E: is an excellent antioxidant, protecting the skin from environmental pollution and UV radiation. It has moisturizing properties and anti-inflammatory action, which helps prevent premature skin ageing. VITAMIN C: it serves as an anti-oxidant when put in the skin. It moisturizes, it encourages growth of collagen, and it exfoliates, softens, cleanses and helps to lighten the dark spot and wrinkles that often increase with ageing. ALPHA ARBUTIN: is a pure water soluble, biosynthetic active ingredient. Arbutin is derived from the leaves of cranberry. It promotes lightening and even skin tone on all types of skin. Alpha Arbutin blocks epidermal melanin biosynthesis. This leads to a skin lightening; a skin lightening active that acts faster and more efficiently. LACTIC ACID: has skin hydrating property that attracts and traps moisture in the skin. Lactic acid also stimulates the synthesis of collagen and elastic fibers in the deeper layer of the skin. GLYCERIN: is an organic compound which improves smoothness and it moisturizes. It is particularly efficient for people with sensitive and easilyirritated skin.
