My Philosophy of Life

My philosophy of life is to be the best person I can be and leave the rest to God. Also being kind to other, because you don’t know what they could be going through. Another important philosophy for me was that I should love God first, and yourself and family as well. Life is like a journey that gets better with time. As you learn the do’s and don’ts it starts become more fruitful and rewarding, but also becomes more challenging. In my case, I was well trained and prepared for life after childhood. Being blessed enough to be raised in a two-parent house hold and have my father be a large role in my life. He helped me be a man at a early age, because of his military background. My philosophy of work is work hard and be yourself. The people you work with respect you more if they see you are genuine and consistent. With that being said it only helps your status in the work place overall. I believe deeply that you should never be a follower. Always be a leader

Art Park was an experience simply because I never experienced it before. It wasn’t what I expected at all. There were lots of different things going on, such as, music, dancing, and drinking. There were all types of people there covering a wide range of ages from children and adults. Even people walking their dogs threw out the massive crowd of majority college students. It was places to eat and buy drinks like small restaurants or dinners. It was bars with lots people enjoying beer and wine. The main part of the park was the art show I attended that had many abstract pictures in there, as well as confusing art. It was one with a guy yelling into the air, and right beside it was a women starring blank in the sun light. I didn’t really understand. It

Fundraising The best way to start off would be giving a definition for fundraising. Fundraising or fund raising is the process of soliciting and gathering contributions as money or other resources, by requesting donations from individuals, businesses, charitable foundations, or governmental agencies. Although fundraising typically refers to efforts to gather money for non-profit organizations, it is sometimes used to refer to the identification and solicitation of investors or other sources of capital for profit enterprises. Fundraising is a significant way that non-profit organizations may obtain the money for their operations. These operations can involve a very broad selection of concerns such as religious or philanthropic groups such as research organizations, public broadcasters, and political campaigns. Some examples of charitable organizations include student scholarship merit awards for athletic or academic achievement, humanitarian concerns, disaster relief, human rights, research, and other social issues. Many non-profit organizations take advantage of the services of professional fundraisers. These fundraisers may be paid for their services either through fees unrelated to the amounts of money to be raised, or by retaining a percentage of raised funds that are percentage based compensation. The second approach is clearly forbidden under the Code of Ethics of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), a professional membership body. A lot of non-profit organizations engage fundraisers who are paid a percentage of the funds they raise. In the United States, this ratio of funds retained to funds passed on to the non-profit is subject to reporting to a number of state’s Attorneys General. This ratio is highly variable and subject to change over time and place, and it is a point of debate between a segment of the general public and the non-profit organizations. It should be noted that the term “professional fundraiser” is in many cases a legislated term referring to third-party firms whose services are contracted for “fundraising professionals” are often individuals on staff at charitable non-profits. Although potentially confusing, the distinction is an important one to note.

The Next Global Stage was a summary that was explaining how the world economically is changing radically. It was explaining about a cyber continent that was arising in the world. It is a world that is populated by 800 million individuals who live everywhere in the world and electronically interconnected. Over the internet they exchange information such as, ATM cards, global position satellites and the English language. The potency and prevalence of the global economy is not totally visible to naked eye. The actions that it performs often take place not on the streets or in the debating chambers of national parliaments, but on computer terminals. Plus, cash transferred occur with a credit card. They also mentioned, being cyber connected in the world. The global economy would not be possible without cyber technology
