CONIC candlestick addresses you in a timeless minimalistic mode of expression. The classical conic form leaves an elegant look. The detail with a space between brass and light causes lightness and elegance. The CONIC candlestick has a timeless design and fits into many connections; it can be arranged beautifully in groups or separately. The candlestick is manufactured in pure solid brass and can be obtained in 4 sizes.

UFO DECO
SCULPTURE UFO DECO er en elegant og spændende skulptur til bord og væg. En udsmykning der pirrer til sanserne, på grund af den svævende form der understøttes af den runde ”form i form”, og de skyggefulde effekter udskæringen i midten giver. UFO DECO skifter udtryk hver gang den drejes en smule. Produktet er forarbejdet i to træsorter. Det smukke mørke Wengé træ, som har sit helt eget liv og stærke udtryk, samt det mere velkendte gyldne egetræ.
UFO DECO is an elegant and exciting decoration for table and wall. A sculpture that stimulates the senses due the round ”form in form”. The shadowy effects that stems from the carving in the middle and the airy expression leaves an elegant look. UFO DECO always changes its look when turned a little. The product is manufactured in two woods, the beautiful Wengé wood with its own personal life and strong special expression, and the well-known golden oak wood.

SCU L PT U R E / VASE Den klassiske COGNAC vase, designet af PIECE of DENMARK, er mundblæst og er efterbehandlet i den traditionelle skandinavisk stil. Der trækkes på flere hundrede års tradition inden for glashåndværket. Det kræver håndelag og faglighed at mundblæse vasen samt at styre farvetoningen. Læg særligt mærke til den skarpe, markerede kant og den helt specielle omvendte farvegradueringsteknik, som får din vase / skulptur til at changere og skifte farvetone alt efter lysindfald. Vasen fremstår med sit enkle formsprog stærkt skulpturel, og med sit lille elegante tilt varierer vasens udtryk en anelse alt efter synsvinkel. Inspirationen til COGNAC har vi fået fra det klassiske cognacglas.
The classic COGNAC, designed by PIECE of DENMARK, is hand blown and ground and polished in the traditional Scandinavian style. Drawing on several hundred years of tradition within glass craftsmanship. It takes considerable professional competency and skill to hand blow the vase and control the colour graduation. The rim is particularly noticeable, as is the reversed colour graduation technique making your vase change colour shade depending on the direction of light. The very simple mode of expression gives the vase a sharp, sculptural character, and due to its small tilt the vase continually changes its expression. The inspiration for the COGNAC is taken from the classic cognac glass.

SCULPTURE / BOWL DIVIDE er designet i egetræ af PIECE of DENMARK og er forarbejdet på et lille møbelsnedkeri i Danmark. Det naturlige egetræ har en spændende opdeling af træfladen, der åbner sig på en ny og inviterende måde. Træ lever, og hvert produkt har sin historie at fortælle i form af sine naturlige årringe. Når det naturlige træ møder den stringente formgivning, skabes produkter der alle er unikke og lever. Ideen bag produktet DIVIDE har været at bryde de naturlige årringe ved at opdele fladen i lag og derved bryde den ellers kompakte træflade.
DIVIDE is designed in oak wood by PIECE OF DENMARK and crafted by a small cabinet maker’s in Denmark. The natural oak has an exiting division of the wood surface that opens in a new inviting way. Wood is alive, and each product has a story to tell according to its natural annual rings. When natural wood meets with the cogent design, products are created that are all unique and living. The idea of the product DIVIDE has been to break the natural annual rings by dividing up the surface in layers an thereby breaking the otherwise compact wood surface. Ideen bag GUBEL har været at skabe et produkt med dobbeltværdi : en vase, som på samme tid er en skulptur i sig selv. Inspirationen til navnet GUBEL har vi fået fra havets fine gopler som er svævende, dragende og magiske. GUBEL er et limited edition produkt fra PIECE of DENMARK, hvis gode håndværk og særlige udtryk fremhæves af den rå porcelæn udvendig. Der bliver kun fremstillet 500 units per år.
The classic GUBEL, designed by PIECE of DENMARK, is handmade in a pottery on the Danish island of Langeland. The idea behind the GUBEL was to create a product with a double value: A product that is both a vase and also a sculpture in itself. GUBEL takes its inspiration from jellyfish (in Danish gopler) – floating, alluring and magical. The GUBEL is a limited edition product from PIECE of DENMARK, characterized by craftsmanship and a distinct expression due to its raw porcelain exterior. Only 500 pieces will be made pr year.

Vasen er skulpturel og har et stilrent og stærkt grafisk udtryk. Udskæringerne og stofligheden leger med lys og skygge. CARVE er et limited edition produkt fra PIECE of DENMARK, hvis gode håndværk og særlige udtryk fremhæves af den rå porcelæn udvendig. Der bliver kun fremstillet 500 units per år.
The classic CARVE, designed by PIECE of DENMARK, is handmade in a pottery on the Danish island of Langeland. The name CARVE is inspired by the carvings in the vase. Den svævende UFO form, det varme træ, og den klassiske gyldne rene messing giver produktet et stærkt insisterende skulpturelt udtryk. UFO LIGHT kan vendes og får dermed to forskellige højder og udtryk. Lysestagen UFO LIGHT er forarbejdet i to træsorter. Det smukke mørke Wengé træ, der er kendetegnet med sine karakteristiske åretegninger, samt det mere velkendte gyldne egetræ. Lyseholderen i midten er forarbejdet i ren massiv messing i Danmark.
UFO LIGHT is designed by PIECE of DENMARK and manufactured at a small cabinet maker´s in Denmark. The airy UFO shape, the warm wood and the classical golden pure brass endows the product with a strong insisting sculptural expression. UFO LIGHT can be turned around and gets thereby two different heights and expressions. The candlestick UFO LIGHT is manufactured in two woods, the beautiful Wengé wood that is characterized by its annual rings, and the well-known golden oak wood. The candlestick in the middle are manufactured in pure solid brass in Denmark. Materials : Brass / Wengé wood or Brass / oak wood.
