Common Design Principles

Revisited Cancha Tipology: system of private courtyards and conecting pedestrian

Block divided into different influence zones

Inspired by the case of the Ollontay Fambo, as its particular significance, where one lot is composed of two Kanchas with a house dividing the plot into two parts, functioning as a frontier between the two kanchas giving them a morphological unity. We thought about dividing our block into different areas characterized by the sharing of the courtyard, as an enclosed space where both adults and children could spend their spare time. Secondly, we decided do create pedestrian pathways in between the block, those as spaces characterized by the presence of public services, such as restaurants, small shops and craftsman shops. Increasing both permeability of the space and creating a more enclosed and liveable public space. Proposal 1 (100%_50%)
