Museumification of Nature This series considers the “nature� being viewed and whether in the future these images will be the only thing left photographically to represent what was once there. In the process of being photographed, the landscapes become objects to be viewed rather than experienced and thus almost transforming it into a museum piece in itself. Nature as we know it, is diminishing by the day as we humans constantly have the need to expand into new areas, making way for plantations, roads, houses, office blocks, power stations, etc. Are our efforts for preservation and conservation really helping nature survive?
