Was Eren Yeager right in killing the majority of the world's population?

No clue who this Eren guy is, but if he was an Honors Student then he probably knew what he was doing. Anything to free me from this hellhole. Besides, I support any young individual with the willpower necessary to take cultural traditions not once, but two whole semesters, and it sounds like this Eren guy would pass with flying colors. I'm betting he would turn out to be a successful alumni, and I need all the donation money I can get to fund my.... project. If the authorities are reading, I do not, and will not own a steal reinforced bulldozer I stole from construction sites around campus. I do not plan on demolishing this institution anytime soon.

Attack On Titan is one of the most culturally significant Anime of the 21st century. Through its gripping narrative, and ever expanding scope, Attack On Titan creates complex characters that aren't well understood by the general public. A lot of people empathize with Eren and the persecution of the Eldian people. And while that's not wrong, I would also like to point out that the Kingdom of Marley was annexed by the Eldian empire for over 2000 years, so revenge is warranted. I really appreciated how they humanized Eren in the end, and told us how he actually isn't responsible for 80% of the world ceasing to exist. Both sides of the argument raise very good points.

Nein. No matter how German the name "Eren Yeager" is, I cannot agree with someone whose sole purpose in life is to remove all other ethnic populations from the earth. Same goes for everyone else in the film. Eldia is on some coked up nationalist shit, and Marley is literally a nation of nazis. They got the armbands and everything. Fuck this series for making me think there was hope for the world. All I learned is that people will stop at nothing to slit the throats of others even slightly different than themselves, and there's no hope for stopping it. Let me go back to reading my poetry until the bombs fall.

Welcome Back!

Ranking Margaritas I've Had Recently

At last place, I have Texas Roadhouse Classic Margarita: I was very disappointed to say the least. How can you mess up a classic lime margarita, I don't know. All I know is that it tasted like battery acid and I had to make my boyfriend drink it because I In second place, I have the blue couldn't margarita from Bar-k: yes, bar k is a dog park, but it's also supposed to be a bar. I really wasn't pleased with this drink it was pretty mid but with a pretty color. I recommend the spicy pineapple papillon from bar k.

Finally, in first place we have the classic lime margarita from Mi-Ranchito: This is a staple. Mi-Ranchito never fails to make my week. I love the food there and the margs just make it 100000x batter!!!

WHERE ARE MY BALLS!!!! They are right over here Zeni!

Here is a step by step guide on how to make Zeni's Balls, and by that I mean cookies that look like Zeni's old Balls....because you know..he got them chopped off... Ingredients: 1 cup of sugar, 1 egg, ¾ cup of softened butter, ¼ cup of molasses, 2 ¼ cup of all purpose flour, 2 tsp ground ginger, 1 tsp baking soda, ¾ tsp ground cinnamon, ½ tsp ground cloves, ¼ tsp salt. + additional sugar to roll dough on.

Directions: In a bowl, mix butter and sugar. Beat in an egg and molasses into the butter sugar mix. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Then gradually add the dry mixture into the other bowl. Now, begin to roll your cookie dough balls and coat in sugar (this stage looks like Zeni's old balls). Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes

Another Coraline Story

Title: "Clayland" INT. OLD VICTORIAN HOUSE - DAY An eerie old Victorian house stands tall and mysterious. The wind howls, and the creaking of the floorboards adds to the unsettling atmosphere. Inside, Dan Gerth, an eccentric artist, works tirelessly on his latest creation. DAN GERTH (whispering to the clay) You're not just clay; you're magic. The clay begins to morph, taking the form of "Bob the cat," a quirky and mischievous creation with glowing eyes. BOB THE CAT (whispering back) What's the plan, Dan? DAN GERTH We're going on an adventure, my friend. CUT TO: INT. OLD VICTORIAN HOUSE - LATER Dan's clay creations, Abby, Josiah, and Hannah, come to life with an otherworldly glow. The room is filled with an eerie yet enchanting ambiance. ABBY (looking around) Where are we? DAN GERTH Welcome to Clayland, where the real magic happens. The group explores the house, discovering secret passages and hidden wonders. CUT TO: INT. OTHER WORLD - NIGHT The group stumbles upon a mysterious portal in the house, leading them to an alternate reality. Everything is more vibrant and alive, but there's an unsettling aura. NARRATOR (V.O.) In this world, where imagination and reality intertwine, the line between friend and foe blurs. Caroline, a curious explorer, enters the scene, intrigued by the magical clay creatures. CAROLINE This is incredible! DAN GERTH Be cautious, Caroline. Not everything is as it seems. Caroline is drawn to the mesmerizing world but soon realizes the danger lurking beneath the surface. CUT TO: INT. OLD VICTORIAN HOUSE - NIGHT As the group faces challenges in Clayland, the atmosphere becomes darker and more foreboding. The clay creatures, once friendly, start showing a darker side. DAN GERTH (whispering) We need to find a way back home. Caroline, Dan, and the clay characters embark on a perilous journey, encountering eerie versions of themselves and confronting the malevolent force that controls Clayland. CUT TO: CLIMAX - THE FINAL CONFRONTATION In a twisted version of the old Victorian house, the group faces a formidable adversary made of malevolent clay. DAN GERTH (to Caroline) We must work together to defeat this darkness. With courage and creativity, they combine their efforts, using the magic of the clay to vanquish the malevolent force and restore balance to Clayland. FADE OUT: INT. OLD VICTORIAN HOUSE - DAY (EPILOGUE) The house returns to its normal state, and the clay characters resume their inanimate forms. DAN GERTH (looking at the clay) Perhaps true magic lies in the balance between creation and reality. Caroline nods, appreciating the lessons learned from their extraordinary adventure. FADE OUT: As the sun sets on the old Victorian house, the magic of Clayland becomes a distant memory, but the creativity and friendship forged in the journey endure. THE END

You Have Been Reading Brain Stew!

What the hell did I just read? “Brain Stew's mission is to provide for the Pierre Laclede Honors College student body a forum for uncensored free thought, commentary, and creativity, as well as news and event listings from PLHCSA and other related campus organizations,” yak yak yak! We publish A LOT OF THINGS. Like, things that make Ed regret ever taking a job at the Honors College! We’ve been publishing since 1991 (or 1993). Longer than Dan’s car has been running, somehow. We must be doing a good job though. Despite our best efforts, grown-ups keep giving us awards — stuff like Best Sustained Program in 2012 and 2017, and Best Cultural Awareness Program in 2018. Even some shady committee called the “National Collegiate Honors Council” gave us awards in 2017, 2018, and Program of the Year in 2020.
