Wegard Video
Wegard App An app and working tool for kindergarten teacher In Germany, there is a big kindergarten crisis. Problems are lack of daycare and missing skilled workers. The reasons for this are, among other things, no uniform quality standards, attractive working conditions, increasing overburdening of skilled workers and the subsequent illnesses. Good early childhood education not only has positive effects on children‘s development but also on the economy and on society itself. It is therefore essential to relieve the kindergarten teachers and to support them in their work. The goal of the App Wegard, which was developed as a work tool for the kindergarten teacher and accompanies them in their daily work, as the educators shape our children and thus our society.
The Problems
Work of the kindergarten teachers Overload Due to increasing responsibility and increasing tasks, there is less time left for the core task of pedagogical support for children.
Exchange Due to the burden of work, there is not enough time to talk extensively with the parents, the team and the management.
Appreciation Lack of appreciation of the society. Kindergarten teacher are seen more as custodians and not promoters of children.
Child Development Insecure bond If children do not experience secure attachment, it negatively affects their emotional behavior and social skills.
Economy The drop-out rate for disadvantaged children is much higher. As a result, they are later dependent on social assistance from the state.
Society The crime rate among disadvantaged children is much higher because they can not integrate into society.
Expert Interviews
Insights & Needs Interview with the experts and people who are concerned and you have the deep insight into the situation. Most of the interviews took place with kindergarten teacher from Berlin, with the management of various kindergartens in Vienna as well as with parents whose children go to the kindergarten. This interview and its subsequent evaluation have a significant impact on the development of the app and its focus.

Exedra Dashbord A dashboard with an agile interface for car sharing in 2030 This leading project deals with mobility in the year 2030. A central component here is the assistance systems of the cars, in particular, the vision of fully autonomous driving. In dealing with the topic of autonomous driving, the tax takeover is in the foreground within 8 seconds. However, this is not the only aspect; assistance systems should also be tested and developed for their benefit. Also, the consideration of new assistance systems is an essential part of this project. This theme is not only implemented with the classic design of an interior element but rather the design of the entire user experience is the focus. The aim is to create a good user experience, which makes it necessary to look at the whole process of driving and not just the steering of a car. In addition to the design of various interior elements, points such as the design of the interface come to the fore.
in Cooperation with
Design Process Problemfinding and Possibilities The average use of a car in major cities is one hour a day. The potential of carsharing in the future can contribute to relieving the strain on the streets in major cities. However, there is a general uncertainty to the car sharing, caused by the abundance of various vehicles, which requires constant habituation of the driver. The goal has been to create a dashboard that shows a unified and personalized user experience to the user.
Diving Deep Insights, Interviews and Evaluation Through personal experience and exchange with users, it has been possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses of today‘s assistance systems, which has a significant impact on the user experience of driving. Besides, the patterns identified and evaluated, which gave us the direction of the further design process.
Personas User groups & their needs The different personas help us to take into account the various life circumstances and the associated concerns and needs of the respective groups of people and to take this into account when implementing our concept.
Concept Ideation & Mock-Up After some consideration considering the field test, the interviews, and the personas. The concept is intended to counteract the current overstimulation of functions and their overloading. The interior should adapt to the needs. The primary display, which extends across the entire dashboard, faces the whole occupant and changes to the driving mode.
Agile Interface Personalization, Reduction & Prioritization The status quo of most interfaces in cars is that they are so full of information and features that the user quickly feels overwhelmed, especially when the user is unfamiliar with the process and the interior. The user has to face the uncertainty and gets stressed during a journey, which leads to possible accidents.
Warning signal in case of suddenly occurring road users. The frequency of the wave motion, similar to a drop that strikes the water, depends on the distance of the road user.
Another warning feature to help with safety is the shaft indicator, which does without the traditional speedometer and informs the driver of the excessive speed of the wheels due to rebounded waves.
Active adaptation of the interface according to the driving mode and prioritization of the information to the driver.
With the advancing technology, such as artificial intelligence and sophisticated algorithms, future assistance systems will actively accompany the driver. As a result, the display with its interface adapts to the needs of the driver and communicates with him. The active and intelligent interface changes to the current traffic situation and prioritizes the information for the driver to her needs. The reduction contributes to safety, as the driver is not overwhelmed by the flexible interface.
EXEDRA
Lovahm App The Explorer App for the city Ahmedabad Moving freely and independently as a young and yet international student in a city like Ahmedabad in India and exploring the city is a complicated affair. It always requires the help of others. But even Indian students who came to study in Ahmedabad experience the same feeling. This app is helping those young people who have just moved to Ahmedabad and want to discover the city for themselves individually. Experience the smell, taste, charm, and people of the town on their own and fall in love.
Challenge Problems & Needs Through interviews, questionnaires as well as my own experiences, I have been made aware of the problems that people face when they want to see the city on their own. These problems often cause many of the students to be too intimidated to go exploring.
Lighting Demo Structured Ideation To know what my app should have in terms of functions and features in order to implement them later on, I used the Lighting Demo to collect my inspirations and to decide effectively.
Skteching Interface and Workflow The sketches of the possible interface and his workflow, how the user moves through the app in the end, before it goes to the digital implementation of the prototype.
User Tests Developing & Testing In a close exchange with students, I have been able to develop and optimize my idea of the app. In the end, the app that makes you want to discover the city freely and independently.
User Flow User Experience The UI Flow allows the user to navigate fast, find what he is looking for and inform him.

Scooter Rental Service
Ooup App Design Sprint 2.0 course based on scooter rental services I‘ve been working on this project for Udacity‘s Design Sprint Course to get a more in-depth and better understanding of Design Sprint 2.0. The company is a scooter rental service that is looking for new ways to make their service more attractive to customers. In the end, a reward program was designed and prototyped, where the customer can perform various tasks and collect points, to redeem them later for free minutes or special promotions.
Defining the challenge Problems & Needs After the expert interview with the CEO of OOUP, where she described her challenges to the company, it was essential to categorize and prioritize these issues to determine the long-term goal. Long-Term Goal: In 2 years, Ooup will be the most popular and comprehensive scooter rental in the world. Sprint Questions: 1) Can we give people the benefit of the Ooup rental service? 2) Can we make sure there is a scooter for the people when they need one? 3) Can we make sure that it is convenient for people to use the scooter rental?
Ideation Possibilities & Scenarios The Lighting Demo, 4-part sketching, and Storyboarding show how the user moves through the scenario. In the end, the vote was the most promising idea evaluated and decided to elaborate it in the next step. Through the designed scenario and how the design might look in the end.
Storyboarding User Flow & Design Storyboarding shows how the user moves through the designed scenario and how the design might look in the end.
