CURRICULUM VITAE
2
When we talk about architecture, we are talking about human beings. We are talking about people who live in a certain cultural environment and have specific and unique traditions. Whenever an architect has to project a building, he or she has to bear in mind who is he or she building it for. It is impossible to have a building without an inhabitant. But I think that in order to develop a better knowledge and conscience of this “human factor”, the only possibility is an encounter with a different culture, its life, its language and its own environment. I have to say with all sincerity that the architecture wich has always fascinated me since I embarked on this path is that of northern Europe, taking as a reference architects such as Mies Van der Rohe, Eero Saarinen of which we can feel the indications of the industrial rationalism of the first but in a less classicist and obviously Alvar Aalto with its architecture between Nordic naturalism and European rationalism.

ACADEMIC YEAR 2017/2018 - SECOND - BACHELOR DEGREE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
TYPOLOGY URBAN RETHINKING - COMMERCIAL - CULTURAL - HOUSING The architectural design Studio of the second year had as its project objective the regeneration of a suburb of Milan, dominated by crime and social decay, which in recent years has been subject to numerous calls for redevelopment, making it an excellent design inspiration where to put in practice ideas, not only from a purely architectural point of view but, above all, from social perspective. The initial aim was to create, together with the whole class of the laboratory, a new subdivision of the district through fifteen new blocks, with residential, commercial and cultural scope. Culture, as the only form of social regeneration, is at the base of the requalification. In fact, in the first block located to the north-east, in addition to housing projects, a museum and a tower were also created, which served as a temporary residence for artists during the exhibitions at the neighboring museum. All this has been studied on a territorial scale without being studied in detail since then the objective of the course was the assignment to each component of the laboratory of a housing building to be carried out in detail. The Corner is born here.

TYPOLOGY educational - social - community UFO, acronym for Unità Formativa Orizzontale (Horizontal Training Unit in English), is the project for a middle school located in the Adriano district, in north-east of the city of Milan. The name of the project fully reflects the philosophy that guided the phases of its conception, through various attempts and tests it was possible to define the circular figure as a symbol of learning. One of the key principles of the project is precisely the path: understood in this sense as circular. The building develops on an elevated level above the ground to highlight the student’s educational and personal growth. The classrooms, laboratories and buffer spaces can thus enjoy a privileged view of the horizon that stands out in front of the project site, allowing anyone who uses the school spaces a different point of view. The spaces of the gymnasium, auditorium and canteen were instead located below the ground line in order to allow their development in height due to the demand for air and space they need. The same spaces, designed with circular vaults placed to cover, define the “hills” which, through the grassy mantle on their top, allow them to cross and for anyone who would like it, a stop. Another important design choice was to keep intact the skeleton of the old building located on the EAST side of the project lot. It was thus chosen to leave the soul of the structure exposed, which allows at the same time to obtain a scenic backdrop and a worthy entrance to the institute.

ACADEMIC YEAR FIFTH - DOUBLE DEGREE PROGRAM - XIAN JIATONG UNIVERSITY
TYPOLOGY HOUSING - CABIN
The aim of the project activity was to test the skills acquired up to that moment and put them into practice. The project is based on the idea of “Remote” life experienced in the last year and a half during the COVID-19 pandemic. The abstract concept of what each of us has experienced, in this project has been taken to the extreme in the search for an architecture that, like us, can adapt to different, sometimes adverse conditions and work equally in the same way. In addition, the concept of ease and speed of construction and transport has been added. RMH was born therefore from the concept of “Remote” life in search of an architecture that could allow all this, making it easy and intuitive.
20
21
Based on the Internet connection under pandemic, we envisioned a lifestyle of remote living. That is to provide a foldable and movable unit, so that users can use a car to easily go on the road and move their home to any place, especially where the natural environment is elegant. This physical distance does not affect real life. It connects with the world through the Internet and relies on convenient city services to make poetic dwelling possible.

MAIN BODY Main body of the house is composed of three parts, which are pre-fabricated module, streching shell and streching platform. The schemes show the dimension of each element. Basically, the pre-fabricated module is 150cm width and 240cm depth. it supports the function of kitchen and bathroom. this part will be separated with the living space by a curtain.

streching shell is the represent of foldability with main structure elements. it starts from a shape 140cm in width. after streching, it will become 450M IN length. so altogather the length will be 600cm. and the actual area for use would be more than 12 square meters.

the streching platform serves also as the movable supporter. there are four wheel under the slab, shouldering all the weight for transportation. the original dimension is 400cm*325cm. when finishing assembing, the dimension grows to 725cm*400cm.

AFTER ARRIVING AT THE DESTINATION, THE FOLDING platforem should BE UNFOLDED FIRSTly , FOLLOWED BY THE FOLDING streching partl. THE BASIC BUILDING HAS BEEN FORMED, AND THEN THE rope WILL BE used to CONNECT THE BUILDING main BODY AND THE platform. AND FINALLY THE FOLDED FURNITURE should BE OPENED. Then SUCH A WARM HOME WILL BE BUILT.

TYPOLOGY HOUSING - SOCIAL - COMMUNITY - SHARING The city of Xian has many peculiarities, it is the historical city of china where most of the historical dynasties intersect and created civilization. One of these historic realities within the city is certainly the Xicang market, located within the historic city walls. Unfortunately, this market presents various problems such as the flow of traffic, which is not always controlled, the management of pedestrian flows, the organization of the market with special spaces, the lack of space for the community living in the neighborhood. The project therefore concerns the redevelopment of a large area which in the current situation is occupied by abandoned buildings and a large area used as an open-air landfill. The aim was to create two new public areas that act as social catalysts, a student housing as there are several university centers near the market, a multifunctional building and a kindergarten serving the district. The approach was to provide for a redevelopment where possible as in the case of the kindergarten which has kept the original shape of the buildings it replaces, also thanks to the peculiar shape typical of the Chinese architectures that these possess, and reconstruction where there were no elements sufficient to be able to redevelop, so for the other two buildings.
