Smart Middle and High School Type: Architecture Year: 2021, February Location: Sejong, South Korea Category: Idea Competition Role: Individual Work
Sejong National Model City Middle and High School Design Competition Organizer: Korea Education and Research Information Service Presidency
It is aimed to redefine the education system in a way that better reflects real life experiences, adapting to the new technological education model of ICT, which provides flexible spaces interaction with urban resources and its environment. The aim is to create a new school typology that combines architecture and landscaping as a learning environment and a local community center, integrates with the city and creates a flexible space that can be shared between various applications, and to design an educational space integrated into online and offline learning environments. Integrating the city and the spaces with each other and ensuring the maximum level of relations has been taken as the primary design goal. The building opens to the public space by organizing exhibitions, shows and events with its portico entrance area, which is protected from the weather conditions and gives the chance to experience the city safely. The space aims to combine all aspects of public life with the educational environment and prepare students for the complexity of the outside world. 8

Cube The ladder-shaped gap opens into the cube form. Spacious and communicative spaces are obtained with space.
Two Pieces The hollow cube forms two seperate parts in the form of ladder. Thus, dayligt, air circulation and usage areas are provided in the vacated area.
Form Of Amphi Excess parts are discarced to make the mass form the amphitheatre. Thus sunlight is allowed to enter the areas under the amphi.
Hollow
Integration
Gaps are opened from the upper levels to provide connection to the spaces behind the amphitheater. Provide daylight and air circulation to these spaces.
Circulation The two masses are connected by a floor and a staircase. Access to the upper mass is provided with the connection bridge. Connection between levels and masses is provided with fire escape and elevator. Sports hall are added to the lower mass.
The form is inspired by the purpose of the lecture hall for students to interact with each other at any time, to act collectively, and for lifelong learning. It is aimed that the spaces inside the building, which is integrated with the city, work in an integrated manner with each other in the form of spaces at each level to see each other and to be aware of each other.
The amphitheater form ensures that all venues are in constant communication and learning. The amphitheater form and technologies of the building, which is a combination of different programs, are intertwined with real life. In doing so, the structure aims to provide a non-hierarchical, pure, functional educational environment.

Wine Cultural Center Type: Architecture Year: 2021, January Location: Huailai, China Category: Idea Competition Role: Individual Work Wine Cultural Center Design Idea Competition Organizer: Crea Talents
The grape is crushed, the seeds are removed and the juice flows. The concept is inspired by the form of the grape, which is the essence of wine, formed in a simple initial stage of the wine production process. By referring to the essence of the wine and defining the geometry of the building, the form forming the outer shell makes visitors experience the first stages of production. The form which was developed and designed in line with the scenario of the building program, is actually looking through a grape among the vineyards that look small when viewed from the building, creating the feeling of being in a virtual realm. The structure in the form of crushed grape, which reveals the first stages of wine production among the vineyards, provides the representation of the region by harmonizing with the area where it is located. The crushed and rising part of the building and the entrances are emphasized. The spirit and nature of the wine is evoked by creating the impression of movement, descent and flow in and out of form with crushing, courtyard and elevation. 26

Seed
The essence of the wine is in grape seed.
Grape pressed from one corner with a finger.
The seeds of the pressed grape jump up.
Rise Grape crushed on one side goes up on the other side.
Shadow The core rising from the middle of the courtyard creates shadow.
Form Formation The courtyard is created by pulling from the middle of the grape opened.

When the grape is crushed from one side that rises on the other side, the grape opens in the middle that forms a courtyard. The seed coming out when grape is crushed, rises on the feet in the middle of the courtyard, forming the museum that is the heart of the wine cultural center. The water flows from the crushed grapes mingle with the landscape in the courtyard that creates water area. The building is divided into 3 parts in this way: The crushed part the main entrance, the rising part the hotel, rising core museum.
For the museum above the courtyard that provide a shady area and natural ventilation to prevent overheating of the building. In this way, the courtyard can be used for all seasons. Hybrid ventilation is used in the building. The rainwater flowing from the museum facade is collected in the warehouses under the pools in the courtyard that recycles the water to the building. The aim of the project is to provide harmony with the environment of the building, flow and integrity in itself from high to the landscape.

Cultural Center Type: Architecture Year: 2019, Spring, Project 6 Location: Tekirdag, Turkey Instructor: Prof. Assoc. Meltem Ozcakı Role: Individual Work
In the middle of the historical district of Tekirdag, among the busy streets, the flat roof of the cultural center, which makes the users feel belonging to the city and integrates with the city, acts as a terrace and draws the users to the sea from the upper street level. It carries the sea and the wind into the city. Thus, users always feel the sea. Terrace; It is a space that exists in Turkish culture, connects the interior to the exterior that makes people free. The terrace roof of the cultural center; The meeting point with the citizens, the viewing terrace, the resting area, is the place that allows the citizens to gain awareness. The cultural center should be intertwined with the user and be experienced from all angle; It should be able to go above it, be able to be together with the citizens in its squares, ensure that the street at the upper level and the street at the lower level remain in contact, and should not separate people from each other. The cultural center, each unit of which consists of a separate mass, connects people at different points as well as connecting the street at the upper level to the street at the lower level with three separate axes between the blocks. 58
