Who says you can’t be funny and smart? Once upon a time, Stephanie was a Biology student at Baylor University. While she veered off the medical school path after graduating, her inner geek didn’t disappear just because she founded Pink Orchid Press. She has instead found a way to incorporate many of her passions (paper, humor, and science) into a popular and ever-expanding card line. Our first “intellectual” design was DNA Helicase. We weren’t sure how well-received it would be... if anyone else would “get it.” Boy, were we wrong! It quickly became one of our best-sellers and continues to delight audiences around the world. The Nerd Card designs, as we lovingly refer to them, seem to have found a niche within the market -- a market that we may have originally underestimated. These clever folks want Geeky. They want a “snort-able” kind of humor. They want Nerd Love...and, by golly, we’re gonna give it to them!

Who are we?
Pink Orchid Press is a designer letterpress boutique in beautiful northern Virginia. It is composed of Stephanie & Trent Colestock, their two little boys, and a wonderful intern staff. The studio was founded in Temple, Texas in 2009, based on a love of paper and tactile art. It has since blossomed into a print+design studio dedicated to an extensive line of greeting cards, stationery, wedding invitations, and more.
