This was my first year showing in the Pinto World Championship® Show.

Horses have always been a large part of my family’s life. My Dad (Dale Bushue) and sister (Mikala Lindsay) have shown for years, and about three years ago, I was able to join them by showing Halter horses.

I was born with Scoliosis, bilateral club feet, and a form of Spina Bifida. Throughout my life I have been to multiple doctors who told my mom and dad that I would possibly never walk. I have undergone numerous surgeries and will likely face more surgeries in the future.

With the help of my family, my team of doctors, and the Lord, I am determined to live my life to the fullest.

This Fall, I will be a Senior. During the school year, I am involved in many clubs and organizations - such as The National Honor Society.

I plan on attending college after graduating to pursue my dream of becoming an Attorney.

My gelding, LEGENDS STYLE (AKA “BIG”) and I were the Reserve World Champions in the YA Halter Gelding 3 & 4 year-olds class at the Pinto World Championship® Show.
