SPRING 2022
Fugitive began life as an experimental art and design project, focusing on freeform art processes and self-expression. Upon creating the destructive logo, and being reminded of identities for streetwear clothing lines, I decided to focus the scope of my project to wearable outcomes. In keeping with the untethered methods of working, one by one I started painting variations of my logo onto T-Shirts. What followed was a series of works that manifested all my favourite lifestyle and design aesthetics into what was essentially a form of self-branding and became my new wardrobe. In order to contextualise the pieces, I photographed my mates wearing the clothes in various locations that I felt conveyed the adventurous spirit of the Fugitive project.
