SUSTAINABILITY CARE & USE
Pip Studio does not own any factories, we work together with our carefully selected partners. We believe that the manufacturing of our products should be done in a responsible way. We aim to create collections with wellthought-out solutions that bring a sparkle to everyday life. Our partners’ philosophy is to build a trustworthy and long-term relationship with our suppliers in order to ensure continuity of the quality, look and delivery of our collections. All Pip Studio products produced in a sustainable way are marked with the Pip Studio sustainable icon (as shown on the left).
To enjoy your Pip Studio products till the end of times, we recommend the following care and use instructions:
TABLEWARE, OVEN- & BAKEWARE
• Material: A-grade white porcelain and New Bone China; • 100% food safe; • Not dishwasher- and microwave safe due to the golden decorations; • Always wash any new purchases before first use, in a mild solution of liquid detergent; • Use liquid detergent; • For tea/coffee stains, use a specialized stain remover; • Use only a soft sponge - metal or abrasive scouring pads can scratch the surface or leave permanent marks; • Plates can scratch one another, so do not put too many in a sink at one time; • Don’t use abrasive detergents.
OVEN- & BAKEWARE
• Material: A-grade white porcelain; • Not dishwasher- and microwave safe due to the golden decorations; • Oven safe; • Always wash any new purchases before first use, in a mild solution of liquid detergent; • Use liquid detergent; • Use only a soft sponge - metal or abrasive scouring pads can scratch the surface or leave permanent marks; • Don’t use abrasive detergents.
GLASSWARE
• 100% food safe; • Not dishwasher safe due to the golden decorations, hand wash only in warm water; • Do not rub design abrasively; • No soaking in water; • Don’t use abrasive detergents.
KITCHEN-, TABLE- & HOME TEXTILES
• Please wash textiles the first time separately; • Follow the general cleaning and care instructions of the care label on each product.
HOME DECORATION PRODUCTS
METAL ITEMS
• Vases, candle holders and trays can be cleaned by using a dry or damp cloth; • Refresh water in metal vases every week; • Use protection underneath metal vases when using water to protect your furniture against humidity due to temperature difference; • Our metal products are handcrafted. Variations in size, finish and colour may occur.
WOODEN PRODUCTS
• Wooden serving trays need special care to prevent warping and cracking. Wood is porous and it absorbs moisture. When it dries out, the wood may get rough; • Wipe wood immediately after use with a sponge or paper towel moistened in cold water; • Make sure it dries properly and completely before storage.
In drying process it is suggested to air dry, not under direct sun; • If the item is very dirty, wash it with washing detergent and a soft sponge, afterwards clean with moistened towel. Let it dry properly before storage; • Do not let it soak in water and never put it in the dishwasher; • Our wooden products are handcrafted. Variations in size, finish and colour may occur.
