The core business of owner consists of the developing social housing facilities destined for renting at social target groups at moderate income and long-term rent. The project “Meng Jai Apartment”, seven houses in 2,000 sq.m., is developed for family housing or the group tenants to serve the new typology of social housing in this area. The fact that this project located close to the owner’s house. Also, they need to provide a community in their area for the middle-class people to live in the proper environment and have the relationship with their neighbourhood. The main idea is to transform the low-cost social housing style in Bangkok to refines the features of the traditional local architecture with contemporary understandings and then incorporates them into the design of the new house which has the interaction with natural context, inside, outside, and communicate with people in this program.

The design concept of the interior space is to add up and reduce the area in each function to have the different area of usability. Importantly, shifting and combining the living room, kitchen and dining room in the horizontal direction to provide the panorama garden view and the large area for the sharing space in the house. On the other hand, the adjacent house on that level will become the smaller function room, but the design is to be a proper function, such as a working area or a single bedroom.

According to the idea of each house, the shifting space between houses are limited by the first and second floor to produce the great sharing space. In contrast, the inner courtyard is designed appearing from the second to fourth floor because of the structure that makes the privacy and green area in the living function in this house.

The Project located on a mountain near the seaside in Phuket, Thailand. The requirement consists of 40 standard rooms in a five-floor building and 18 deluxe bedrooms and six duplex bedrooms in the resort units. Besides, The design team need to associate with landscape and interior designer to find the proper design solution in many types of space. The main idea project is how to create the user’s sequence circulation and see the solution for the constraint of the law in around there, such as the height of the mountain, the gap between the building units and the impact of the contours’ slope on the building. Moreover, the large site and more separate unit need to the organisation to produce the quality of the service to the user who comes in the separate units. Furthermore, providing the activity area to fulfil the function of this project through the main program, such as the spa, the yoga deck, the rooftop bar, the Inwood restaurant and The natural swimming pool. The last, using the local materials to perform the sense of the area through the architecture and finding the design system to control the owner’s budget are an essential purpose of this program.

According to the law in this district, the area where has the high slope more than the standard will lead to resort units ought to have the area less than 150 sq.m. per unit and have the gap between each of the unit for two meters. Moreover, the law limits for the cutting and filling to the land on the slope for one meter to allow the adjustment unit floors relay on the proper level in the different height of slopes. However, the high level of units benefits to itself in the vertical direction that assists every unit looked over the other buildings to see the seaside view on the other side of this area.

The organisation of the resort’s units is grouping the similar unit’s level by using the wooden path in the several levels to combine the group’s unit. This system becomes the primary entrance to each unit and providing the storage, car parking and staffs so that it can enhance the efficiency service and reduces time-consuming for management in the remote area from the service center.
The surface of the main building is inspired by the standing stone which implies the building floor has the combination on each horizontal level floors, but it seems separated in the vertical direction from each other.
The design tries to find the solution to reduce the construction and maintenance cost by providing the function with this facade that can be an advantage more than the decoration material. Due to this building has a large window in every unit type which face the mountain view and the resort units, the facade pattern which originates from the local wood produce the essential function to create the shading, shadow and the privacy to the inside of the building.

allowing the sunlight and shadow to the interior reducing to interact the context
The facade resort design is inspired by the tropical climate that has overhang roof to protect the strong sunlight and the torrential rains and the wooden construction techniques that produce the shade and shadow effect along with the tactile experience. The enclosure of villa is designed as an abstraction from of vernacular Thai house with its purpose to both facilitate the interior living space and create the atmosphere for the outside courtyard. The enclosure of each villa is different according to its interior function and location of the building.

At the Architect 2014 Expo event is the result of a two-month workshop under the title ‘Proto-Tectonic’. A collaboration of art4d and Physicalist Workshop, the work- shop was an architectural design experiment that is based on the processing logic of digital devices which are different from a conventional top-down approach - an approach where the architect typically establishes a fixed final result. Rather, this workshop tended to explore a bottom-up process where the architect defines a ‘system of relationship’ which does not lead to a fixed end result but allpossibilities differentiated from the input parameters and behaviour of the components which are composed with a certain clear logic. This certain logic is based on algorithms or processing methods of a digital device in the form of if...., then...... The belief was that the process of the architectural design based on a foundation of this logic is crucial, especially with the prevalent usage of digital tools in both the design and construction processes of today’s world.

The experimental structure
The team used the structure from two materials which are combined to the pavilion structure. First, the Polypropylene, PP, which is thickness two mm. is the light weight and can take long-span structure. Furthermore, when this material is curved, it becomes the strength and the more it becomes blended, the more it becomes the strength. For this case, the second material, the plywood which is five mm. thickness will provide the pre-stress to the bent PP by locking in many slots which can make the variation curve of the bent PP. The compound of the two material turns to be a unit of the structure, and the various size plywoods and curved PP provide the structure in the many curvature structure forms.

Following the material’s selection, its behaviour was analysed in response to and maximum member sizes, factors which depend on the local component and aggregation logic of global geometry. Various geometries and aggregation logics were explored in relation to different program and spatial requirements. During study 1:1 model, the model can’t stand with itself because of the weight of each of the unit. Also, Eliminating the some part of the plywood in the centre which does not effect on the structure for reducing the weight. Moreover, the scale of the hole in a plywood would depend upon the size of the unit. The next problem, the joint of the two materials did not perform efficiently when many components combine to be some parts of the whole structure. As a result, developing the joint by analysing every connection amount unit and between the material from the physically tested and explored in actual scales 1:1 conveys the proper joint for each of the detail.
Though the final outcome did not turn out 100% as planned, it has successfully served as a ‘vehicle’ for all participants to learn individually and also together as a whole. Looking at the workshop from this angle, it was considered a success, especially in response to the extent of new knowledge and experience gained through the learning process. Besides, discovering solutions through constant questioning and hands-on experimentation and then actually getting down to the task of completing the work. Starting from zero to become a 77 square meter pavilion for the six-day exhibition in the Architects ’2014 event, the pavilion is proving nothing short of an invaluable accomplishment.

The perforated concrete block on the first floor assists the sequence in the function on the first floor, such as the parking, the main stair, the path to the brother’s owner house, and divides the whole space into four independent areas, such as living area, front hall, service and store. These walls allow the sunlight and wind through the large area on this floor. Moreover, the wall can withstand resistance from the water when the flood come into this level. The element of the construction was designed in the modular grid which can make the size of the material to fit in each of the areas and serve the simple way in the construction process. For this case, the combination amount of the boundary in the material exhibit the dedicated detail and the refinement in the part of finishing.
The structure composes of the concrete in the part of the main building to reduce the construction cost, and the steel on the part of the roof, the verandah and the main stair to the decoration and the light weight structure. The roof was designed to relate the climate in Thailand, warm and heavy rain. As a result, the extent roof which seems flat to make the shadow and address the rain problem. Furthermore, It hides the hip roof in the inner layer roof for the sufficient drain water and the protection of the warm weather from the intense sunlight into the second floor and the little maintenance in the future.
The combination of steel and wood in this house is not only for the structure design but also for architecture details which can see from every side of its. Furthermore, the gap between the details and the extra void of windows are concerned about the shading, shadow and wind circulation to improve the natural sense of the location. Consequently, the methodology and the organisation of architecture from the requirements, materials, construction processes, and the particular location bring the benefit to design solution of this project to enhance the space and living in this house for solving site problems and serving the quality of life to the owner’s family.

: Bangkok, Thailand : Proposal Design Project : 9,200 sq.m. : Reserch the program Architecture design
This final thesis is the proposal project to encourage the architecture which lies in between the starting point and the user’s destination. Meanwhile, it provides a method to serve the sense of perception and interaction to pedestrians who pass through this project between the function and space. The design comes up with the functional system that can serve the new experience to the user by the temporal function and space will be changed from during the day, the season and the festival event for the interaction to every user that walking pass this area. Moreover, the program tries to bring the efficiency of the site and context in public space to merge the design system in order to create the architecture in various methodologies. Thus, It could be the proposal project that can enhance the efficiency of the site and the functions which have an impact on the people in the community. For this aim, The architecture design would answer a question about How the building can play a crucial role in the development of many scales in living life, such as the people, area, society and the city via the organisations, methods and design systems. The function can fulfil the requirement to the user’s moving and the site location that of the time, context, speed and perception via the public space and architecture which they pass. Moreover, this project attaches significance to serve the functional requirement of the pedestrians and the site context. For this case, the design system and the organisation have an influence on the program.

Victory Monument is a prestige monument in Bangkok, Thailand, which locate at the center of a traffic circle at the intersection. It has created an area to accept space of project in part of perception and response to moving to the destination. There is a BTS Skytrain station of the same name to the south of the Monument. Furthermore, there are many Bangkok BMTA bus lines stop around the monument’s traffic circle, and many private commuter van lines also use the monument as a terminus. The building which surrounds for two kilometres of this area is composed of 2 Hospitals, 3 Department Stores, theatre, the central police department, 80 office building and the estimated 130,000 family house. In one day this site would have the pedestrians more than 800,000 people who pass trough the seven square meter in this area about 3,300 people per hour.

The function in this area is composed of the public transportation station, the local retail shop, the open space, the small restaurant and the food truck. The design tries to find out the fulfilment of the function on this program from the two group of requirement. Firstly, The requirement from the site that consists of the new function such as the parking and the supermarket. Secondly, the requirement from the user, the program come up with the temporary function can provide the new experience to the user trough the human interact, seeing, pass trough drop by and exploration

All the path are chosen by the interaction of the user which each area will be created in response the user’s need in different ways and time. Thus, the predictions can design the path from their interest while using this program. Furthermore, they are all still have the connection to change the routes from the intersection. Intersection A

Intersection C
The Intersection space is the transformer path which allows transferring people to other paths from the vertical direction. These intersections are expanded to other regions around the project and rely on the five buildings. Besides, these cores directly connect the public route and locate the service function such as the store, the primary service and the information center.
Within the project that has many types of the building is composed of the old building, Building which used only some parts, new building and existing building of some building which still can use. It makes the connection between the area of the project by penetrating circulation into the different building. Besides, the other elements contributed in part of connecting with the existing building and for adjusting a variety of functions. Part 4 th

Temporary Function
The recognition of the surrounding when people walked pass trough in case of regularly moving in the same area. It will make remembering and perception of the area which is going to walk pass. People will get bored that area if they can imagine the area before. Therefore, using the unique point of perception in the habitual area by creating a temporary space and change of function in the area which divided by time or situation or festival to be factors of circulating temporal areas.
The characteristic of field change which happens in every time will depend on the event, season, and time, such as the seasonal display, the promotion market, the advertisement event and the temporary exhibition. This idea can perform at the several areas in many sizes following from functions, locations and thoroughfare. This system will serve the new experience and new perception to pedestrians on the project trough the temporary function and space which located on the old structure.
The layout of the building affects the area of the Victory Monument and responses to the area by creating enclosed space but still maintain the sense of the area. Besides, the design of enclosed architecture layout ought to concern the law of the Victory Monument’s height. This program It does not only preserve the sense of How to serve the function to this area but also a response to the context and the buildings which have many types of the structure. Moreover, the new function and the temporary function as the programme methodology served in the 8,200 square meter in this project. The Building is composed of the three flexible pathways that have the overall distance 750 meters, the five core building that can transfer to many levels of the path and the old structure and some parts of the old building which allow the temporary area to encourage the new perception to the user.
