POR TFO Stephanie.Rae LIO DESIGNS

About the designer..... Hi! I’m Stephanie Rae Panganiban Interior Design for me isn’t about placement of furniture in a space. But also creating an experience. Such an experience that can be felt and enjoyed is something I aim for. Client satisfaction is the ultimate goal along with a good concept development and execution. This is what makes a project complete.

Dedications Thank You! These past two years at VCAD have been monumental in my professional and personal development. There is much appreciation I have for the successess I’ve reached.

1. Tiffany and Co.

03-16

First off, I want to thank my inspiration and motivation, my mom and dad. They taught me to have strength and believe in myself. I am proud to be graduating as a first generation immigrant. I couldn’t have gotten to this point without them.

2. Dental Office

3. Circuit Cafe

4. Gaming Studio

5. Tiny House

A big shoutout to my classmates, Ambassador family and love ones that were my cheerleaders throughout my academic journey. They made me laugh when I was struggling. They were my self-care and my rock. They showed me how important balance is in life, and to reward myself often. I want to acknowledge my professors and mentors at VCAD for the challenge. This training has prepared me for my professional goals. I will end with an inspirational quote that helps me gain the courage to go fourth in my next challenge. “It’s okay to be scared. Being scared means you’re about to do something really, really brave.”

Cleopatra’s Headpiece The concept of Cleopatra’s headpiece in Egypt is a representation of empowerment of both genders. A person can feel their own self, feel good and free to explore new things. With Tiffany and Co’s history were a time of dynamic growth and golden opportunity for anyone with a little capital and an abundance of imagination. The concept is the best symbolic of a heritage based on the higest standards of quality and design excellence.

Modern Futuristic Since people usually associate going to the dentist with fear and pain. We wanted to create a space that will help eliminate those fears. To do that, we chose a modern futuristic concept that would make you feel relaxed, like you’re visiting a spa. The modern style it will make visitors feel present, that they are in the present-time. The futuristic vibe is also a metaphor for a change in the stigmas related to dentistry.

Willy Wonka A movie as a concept is very tricky, everybody expects something that they’ve seen in the movie. They will expect scenarios that had happened in the movie, or specific colour or shapes. You will not see Willy Wonka theme in the design. We used moods or emotions you feel when you watch the movie. The “Wow-factor”, that unexpected vibe you want when you go on a new environment. That feeling of curiosity in the beginning of the movie, where is everyone wants to know what’s inside the factory. cause it was better than what you have expected.

Science Fiction Science fiction is a genre of speculative fiction that typically deals with imaginative and revolutionary conceots such as advanced science and technology, Space exploration, time travel, parallel universe and/or Extraterrestrial life. Using it as the concept will emphasize how high tech a room can be and It will make you feel like you are in a different world. That is the goal of this project.

The problem

THEATRE ROOM - CURRENT SITUATION

The plan Stephanie Rae was commissioned to handle the Interior Design of the newly renovated basement in 2020. It is located in Cebu City in the Philippines and was only a concrete shell when Stephanie Rae took on the task of designing the space. The new basement had to reflect as a different part of the house that is used as a place to relax and pursue hobbies away from the rest of the family. It was before a theatre room, and Stephanie Rae came up with a creative idea to turned it into a High-Tech gaming room. Since the client is a valid gamer and a streamer.

Tiny House Banff, Alberta surrounded by the mountains

Jewelry Box Jewelry box is a special box for keeping jewelry, often decorated and containing several seperate parts. The outside part looks really simple, sometimes just a brown colour. But the most important part is what’s kept inside. Gems are hidden, and sometimes rare diamonds that you never imagine. This modern Tiny house was designed with the idea of just like a jewelry box. Exterior design is simple and just shape like a box. But the inside is a magnificent place. It is a sustainable home with a composting toilet, rain water catch systems, and triple-pane windows for high efficiency. The Tiny house was also crafted keeping minimalism in mind, making use of natural daylight to save energy.
